MadeiraRayon Thread 1100yd Spool WHITE Color: 1001

This thread seems to embroidery out quite well but occasionally splits.

The spool is small. It says it is 1100 yards, but visually looking at it, it seems much smaller. It looks like it is 400 yards maximum. I am assuming that it has to do with the actual weight of the thread. It does not seem to be as much of a deal as I was expecting it to be. I have not used this thread yet, but I have used Madeira rayon thread for embroidery. I am expecting the quality to be the same as the other weight of Madeira rayon thread. I paid approximately $7.99 for this spool, and don’t feel like it was worth $7.99.

This rayon thread has a lovely sheen. It sews well and doesn't bunch up or unravel.

I have 2 Embroidery machines (Ruby Royal, Viking Husqvarna AND Brother DIsney, 2012) and go through white QUICKLY. Love Madeira thread and this was exactly what I needed and even arrived a day early.

Beautiful sheen. Use it a lot.

Madeira’s quality is consistent.
