I received the rocks today. Beautiful assortment but much more than I needed.Warning!You must rinse, rinse and rinse again under garden hose sprayer. They are packed with sand and dried mud. They have many voids to hold the sand and dried mud.Rinse under pressure until water runs clear. Then repeat and soak until soak water runs clear. This may take several repeated rinsing.Adding these rocks without this repeated process will be a disaster for your aquarium.These beautiful rocks will change color when submerged in water. Beautiful colors. Greens, yellows, gray, blue and orange tones.Great product. But 25lbs is much more than I needed for my 40 gallon breeder aquarium. But I got a varied assortment to pick from.I highly recommend this product

The box that I received looks like it had been well handled. There was great deal of rock powder (dust) but it was all contained in the box. This was not an issue for me as the current trend in marine aquascaping seems to be to break up much of the rocks and then reassemble into the desired shapes using the appropriate superglue and the powder/rock dust and glue layering one after the other. It just meant that some of the work had already been done for me. This may not be a benefit if you wanted to just clean and stack your new rocks.

These rocks look wonderful, especially after rinsing off the dust they create since they are clay based.
