Beautifully done
Love how this book so clearly displays the colors that are being “mixed”. Adults seem to be just as fascinated by this book as kids!

Excellent book - actual color mixing going on.
Very nice book. At first, I assumed the wheels were just printed and positioned to provide the desired effect. Then I saw the author's reading of the book where she explained that colored acetate was used to actually mix the colors. When I received the book the affect was too good to be true. I've experimented with mixing colors in this fashion and it's not easy to get a good effect. This book does a fantastic job and it's cool to be able to tell my children that actual color mixing is happening. Very clever.

Interactive
My 1 year old loves to spin the wheel. It actually can teach how to make colors because it has two wheels on top of one another, and you use both to create different colors. So clever! Great interactive book for teaching colors.

Fun and Engaging
In this clever board book, children can turn a spinner to create colors! Using simple rhymes, each two-page-spread greets an insect hovering around a different color flower. The middle of the flower is an open circle. When children turn the spinners on the side, the opening fills with a color. There are two spinners to teach children that when two colors come together they can create a new color. For example, when the yellow spinner is aligned with the blue spinner, the color green appears in the flower. It is the child’s job to match the color with the flower. My two-year-old daughter loved moving the spinners and figuring out how to make the correct color. This is such a fun and engaging way to teach colors and color mixing!

Great for Learning Colors
My daughter received this book when she was about 17 months old and loves it! She’s 20 months now and can easily manipulate the wheels to make the appropriate colors. For her, this is the foundation of all her color play and she uses it as a reference for all her other colored toys. This book comes out every day multiple times.
