Best single volume WW1 aircraft book
Although pricey, I assure if you are interested in combat aircraft of the First World War, look no further. It starts with the frail aircraft of 1914 and ends with those 200+ hp beasts entering service in 1918.

Excellent book
Expensive but the illustrations and research are excellent. Curse you "Red Baron" and I have been about as successful as Snoopy while playing Rise of Flight.

Well worth the money, recommended
This is a very well put together book that gives a detailed and comprehensive one volume review of WW1 aviation. After reading this book you'll either have discovered all you need or go on further and by extra volumes in the series or Osprey books covering more specific areas of the conflict. Good photos and excellent colour plates.

Five Stars
Superb book which details the development of German fighters. Plenty of detail for modellers.

Puts the genealogy of fighter aircraft in perspective with accompanying rarely-seen photos.

Peerless in content, so-so in edition quality.
Sad that this superb piece of work is so badly finished; the book cover is not even well-centered...., and we're talking about a +50 Euros book.
