I buy something and expect it to work and do what it is supposed to do.However, this mattress cover deserves a review.We have a cat who is extremely high maintenance. If the littler box is the tiniest bit dirty she will not use it. Instead, she likes to use the bed. (Lovely-right!?) have you ever tried to clean cat pee off a mattress before!? if so, I hope you have a comfy couch- by the time you scrub down the mattress and allow it to dry- Only to still smell pee and start the process all over again you’ll wish you bought this mattress cover months ago.Honestly, it has been a life saver. The waterproof aspect of the cover has been life changing. No more scrubbing down the mattress- just take off the mattress cover and throw it in the washer and dryer and you’re good to go!Couldn’t be happier with this purchase!!!!!!

I spent $100 for mattress covers at the store. Salesman said they were not the cheap ones, they worked great, they had a lifetime warranty. First time my kid peed the bed she was near the edge. WARRANTY DOESNT COVER THE EDGE. Warranty only covers the surface. Useless. I ordered these this time. They are exactly the same as the $100 ones. There's no crunching sound, they're a soft terry cloth like material with a waterproof backing. Kids have peed on them, sadly, 4 times now. Doing well in wash too. This is all you need to protect your mattresses.

I purchased this mattress protector for my brother about a week ago to use on his brand new mattress. The full size fits his full-sized, 12 inch thick mattress very well, hugs it closely and is easy to put sheets over. My brother has cancer and is taking chemo, so we never know what's coming from one day to the next. Last night it was diarrhea. You can hardly believe that it would actually work because it's so thin and lightweight, but it did the trick totally. Stained sheet and a stain on the terrycloth side of the protector, but nothing - I mean nothing - got through to the protector's underside or to the mattress. It washed well and didn't take over long to dry.. I am sold and would buy this product again in a heartbeat. Sooo glad we got it when we did!

I bought this because someone had previously bought me a brand new queen size mattress pad cover for my queen size bed. However, the gift from a different store barely fit the mattress - regular mattress, not even pillow top, and if I so much as sat on the bed the corner would pop right off. If I turned in bed or one of my dogs shifted in the night, the corner would pop right off, pretty much nightly and multiple times/night. I looked at what Amazon had to offer and saw the reviews on this mattress pad. I have dogs, so I thought it would be a bonus to have a waterproof quality included. Based on reviews, I bought it. I received the mattress pad fast and as expected. It goes on so easy and fits extremely well. It would also fit a much taller mattress than mine but at the same time it is not loose and bunched up at all, nor is it too tight and barely fitting. Fits perfect. When I came home from church today, I found that my 120 lb doberman vomited pretty much a lake on the bed. When I lifted the mattress pad to see how well it performed...Perfect! The underside of the mattress pad was dry and of course so was the mattress. No staining, no transfer. I definitely recommend this mattress protector. I'm only washing it now for the first time, so I don't have an accurate assessment of the durability over time, but it certainly stands up to liquid. As a side note, it is almost like a thin terry cloth cover, soft, no noise or crunching. For those that like extra padding or fluffiness in a mattress pad: it is not fluffy or pillow like, so no extra padding. It is comfortable.

I needed a waterproof cover to prevent my mattress from any accidental stains as the warranty is voided if there is any stain on the covering should I need to file a claim. Other covers really bothered me because they feel like plastic and make it too hot to sleep. Or they are actually made of plastic and melt when they go into a cool dryer per the instructions. I like this one because it has a terrycloth type material on top which helps to not feel like I'm sleeping on a plastic mattress. Then after first use I spilled a cup of coffee on the mattress. Don't ask how just know that when I removed the cover the coffee had soaked in and i thought this is the ultimate test as I removed the sheets and saw how there was no coffee just a stain and I dreaded to think what the mattress looked like. But my worries were really for nothing as the coffee was in the cover not dripping or leaking out of the ends. I took to the washer put it thru following the directions. When I pulled the cover from washer I fully expected to see coffee stain and that would have been fine with me because it had done exactly what it was supposed to do and protected the mattress. I couldn't be happier to say no stain, I dried it again following directions and it came out clean, dry, and not melted or stuck together as the previous covers I've used did. Excellent product.

When we purchased our Temperpedic mattress 8 years ago. I purchased a mattress cover to protect my investment. I paid 80 dollars for the cover. I did purchase it from actual store that sold the mattress. The mattress cover backing has just started to peel, flake. After 8yrs it was time to replace the cover. I saw the reviews for the is one and was surprised that this looked just like the one I have. And it is... It’s soft not your typical plastic, rubber sheet. One of the reasons my cover has lasted is that I never put it in the Tumble dryer. I have always air dryed. This may help with the longevity. This price is a steal for the quality. We have deep 20 inches corners on the mattress and this pits perfectly.
