Lugzmens Convoy Classic 6-inch Chukka Boot

Boom Chakalaka Boom!
These fit nice and are very comfortable (warm in the winter). The black ones look good and the suede is proving to be very durable. Soles are rugged, but MAY slip on wet slick surfaces, for instance when entering a slick-floor store from the rainy outside, so be careful there. This could be the newness of the boot's soles, but I have worn them many times before this post on dry sidewalks. For me, the insoles were hard and not that comfortable; they hurt my feet the first two times wearing them. Therefore, I changed them out with some old insoles I had in a pair of sneakers I was tossing out--Eureka...what a difference! With that change, I really like these boots. However, I do wish the vendor and/or maker would install more comfortable insoles in them. Size runs true, but may be a little narrow for some with a wide foot, so check the size/chart carefully. If you understand the above, I do recommend these boots, as I am now enjoying them very much while working in the yard, or tooling around. Note: THESE ARE NOT STEEL TOE COMMERCIAL WORK BOOTS!

Great shoe, Could be uncomfy.
I got a size 13 and the shoes are great! Great dupes that look a like and are very durable. Thickness feels legit as well. I will say, the shoes could be uncomfortable after prolonged standing but other than that, great shoes!

If you're paying More than $30 you're paying too much
They look great at first. They look just like Timberland boots and even people who wear timberland boots can be fooled. BUT with any style , color or size of the LUGZ brand boots, they're cheap poor quality. They're disposable boots. You'll be trashing them after a few months. Doesn't matter if it's the laces, the leather or suede upper, or the bottoms of the soles/treads, they won't last long enough to be worth anything else more than $30 boots.

Order these today
Didn’t realize till after I received that these are Lugz!! Such a great price for a shoe brand I love but haven’t bought from in a while. I just got them cause they looked nice and had a wide option. BUT they are better, waaaay better quality than the price. I thought I was ordering some generic brand that I could only wear once in a while before it disintegrates but these are great feeling on and the material is thick but also supple. Accidentally ordered two but keeping them both so I can give the extra to my best friend!

I wanted to love them, but...
+I ordered these over pricier competitors, after the pleasant surprise I got from the purchase of a pair of Lugz "Drifters". They were copped in a pinch when my size in my usual Tims where out of stock. They turned out to be comfortable, stylish, and durable. And ias it goes; that was just the icing on the cake. The fact that the price tag was only ⅓ of my Tims sell for, was the cake itself.+So when I saw these- sortof chukka style boot, available in the very same red that I was looking for to match a new red denim trucker jacket I just got, I knew I had to have them.Unfortunately, I am going to be exchanging these...-These are NOT red. They're are pictured as bright red. In reality, they're a dark shade of maroon, even a little purple and pink in the wrong light... regardless, 100% absolutely definitely not as pictured. I held them up to my jacket, which appears identical in shades of red on here- and it made them look burgundy. And they are all of the darker shades of the red to violet end of the spectrum. But that's absolutely not the same thing as the red to orange end of the same spectrum. These look fire engine red or at least emoji heart→ ❤️ ←red. But I'm certain that you will find, they are actually not...More cons:-They came without any inserts. Strange, and I'm sure it would be made right if I asked for that- and I would, if they were the same color as pictured.-Sizing:I got the exact same size as the Lugz I mentioned earlier. Yet these are very narrow, and they looked small to me right out of the box. So I compared sole to sole with many of my other boots including the same size lugz- indeed these are about a half to ¾ size smaller. Enough that even despite the lack of any inserts, and with a light pair of socks I happened to be wearing as opposed to my usual- thick Merino wool socks- my feet were too wide for the midfoot & toe box, and my toes were jammed against the ends and sides. No bueno. The other concern is just how thin the soles are - especially in the mid-front, and the weird angle that the boots curve upward from the mid-foot forward is just not my style. It resembles very closely to pointed toe snakeskin cowboy boots... or the boots of wicked witch of west...or any witch, good or bad 😉...Conclusion:Overall I just cannot recommend nor advise against these-- simply because I haven't been able to wear a pair of them properly, with the inserts intact, and the proper size.*I can however, recommend that you go a half size up. And that you be are aware that these are not the same color as the pictures. Red has many shades, but this is closer to a maroon.BET...Honest reviews : §∆¥ L€$$☆★☆★☆ Em | jəy

Lugz Shoes for Birthday
The media could not be loaded. Got my husband a new pair of boots for his bday, and they did NOT disappoint. They came in perfect time, and the sizing was his normal shoe size, and they fit him very well. Product is very nice and with no marks or scuffs of any kind. Seem very durable and comfortable.
