Serta Standard/Queen Bed Pillow (2 pack)

I read a lot of reviews before deciding on purchasing this product. The bad reviews had me scared for dear life but they’re necessary before purchasing an item. Bearing these reviews in mind I purchased, expecting the worst but reminding myself of Amazon’s policies. That being said, I am happy I made this purchase. Arrived on time. It’s months later and the pillows are still as plump, no chemical smell (and my nose is very sensitive due to having asthma) and no color change. Good as new

I bought a set of these Serta Smart Defense Pillow about 2 years ago. They came with a green label on pkg. The ones that came this week have same label but it is now blue. They are shipped by Sam's Club so I don't know if cheaper if you buy there. The Free shipping (even without Prime) makes these the best value for a name brand. They fit okay in our Queen Pillowcases. Not sure they'd fit in a Standard one.I think they are firm enough for me.I see comments about washing them and that even tually they flatten out. But, seriously, for less than $8.00 each INCLUDING shipping to your door, why would you bother putting in washer. If I get a year out of these I consider it a bargain.So I'll probably buy the same ones again when I'm ready for more.I hope you found this review informative and helpful.

Absolutely great! I love a big fluffy pillow, and these completely full my queen size pillow covers. I've had them for a couple of months and they haven't started to flatten out yet.....haven't had to fluff them either.Update: I've had these over six months now and they are still like new!

Well made pillows. They *appear* comfortable, are puffy and soft to hold, and bounce back to their loftiness fairly quickly. But the comfort ends there for me. They are comfy in appearance only. They do not retain their loftiness during the night. They are not supportive pillows in the least. In fact, they become rock hard where my head lay - it's uncomfortable and I have woken up to the sensation of hardness underneath my head and shoulders. It does not seem to matter if I sleep on my side or back - the pillow gets very hard eventually. These pillows are good for show only - and if you aren't going to actually sleep on them, or use them as a temporary bolster or support in bed while reading - for an hour or so - they would be great. Maybe they would work as a napping pillow, not for long overnight sleeps. I would not recomment these pillows.

Perfect, for me anyway, firmness. Priced to make it a good value. Only time will tell as to durability, but they appear to be able to hold up for several years.Loses a star because they seem to be just a bit large for a standard pillow case.

I did not know what to expect for such low priced pillows, but these are simply amazing. I like full and firm pillows that don't flatten like a pancake after a little use. I've had these for a month sleeping with my head on one and the other between my knees (I'm a side sleeper), and they are still as full as the day I got them.

These pillows are soft, light, and supportive. I have slept on them for a month, and they have retained their shape. They are some of the most comfortable pillows I have ever owned and were at a great price. Highly recommended.

Really didn't need to see this enclosed with the pillow. Where do you store them before shipping? Looks like a cone nosed bug to me.
