Well made and VERY attractive!
I recently had granite counter tops installed in my kitchen and wanted a new sink to go with them. My 20 year old Kohler porcelain cast iron had held up well and I was looking for something similar. After some research, and seeing examples of the wide variety of colors available of Blanco sinks in local showrooms, I went with the Blanco Silgranit Valea in Truffle. Most local places wanted a 4 week lead time, Amazon had this sink at my door in three days. And for $100 less! My first impression of this sink is how light it is! A great attribute for an under counter sink that will be mounted to granite. The sink came in very solid packaging. It came blemish and damage free, and looked amazing. Once installed, it looked even better. I also purchased through Amazon the matching BLANCO 441324 SILGRANIT Coordinated Sink Waste Flange and Blanco 235913 Front Center Drain Sink Grid. It all works very well together and I am very happy with all of it. The sink is EXTREMELY easy to keep clean. Going on a over a month now, and it's ten times easier to keep clean than my old white cast iron. I am extremely pleased with this sink so far and look forward to many years with it.

Durable and Long Lasting Well Worth The Money!!!!
I have owned a total of three Blanco granite sinks and for each and everyone I have never had a problem with cleaning or durability. I have Black, White and now Gray. First, I like that they are deep sinks. I keep my dishwashing/hand wash ((Dawn Platinum) liquid in a smaller container, this way I can leave it in the sink and avoid it taking up counter space when not needed and it is not seen. They clean very easy, for all the colors I have owned, I never had a problem using bleach in any of the colors of my sink, not even the black. After washing out the sink i just wipe it down with a well squeezed dish cloth and it looks like new again. They are large and easy to clean large pots. I knew when I remodeled my kitchen again I was looking for another Blanco sink because of their long lasting durability. They are a great value for the money. I will never look at another type of sink besides these.

Four years in and still looking great!
We've been putting this sink through its paces for four years now. Cast iron skillets, stock pots, silverware tossed in, stacked dishes falling over. Greasy food left soaking, hard water, boiling water, you name it, it's been through it, and come out like a champ.I will admit we've probably treated it SLIGHTLY gentler than we would a steel sink. We don't drop solid cast iron skillets onto the bottom, but it's had its share of bumps and bangs with the only visible damage being a few small nicks or divots (which you can only really notice if you are carefully watching water flow across the bottom or in the right light angle). On top of that, with some Barkeepers Friend, it cleans up pretty much like new any time. Highly recommended. As a side note, when the sink first arrived, the hardware was running around loose in the box, and had scratched it up pretty bad during transit. I contacted Blanco to ask how to handle this, and whether attempts to fix the scratches would prevent returning it. They reassured me they wouldn't have any issue with me trying to mitigate the scratches and suggested Barkeepers Friend for that purpose, and that worked perfectly. I don't know how they manufacture Silgranite, but it SEEMS like it is some sort of polymer or resin with powdered stone mixed/embedded in it. Amazing stuff.

Love this sink!
We're redoing our kitchen - new countertops, sink, backsplash, but keeping the shaker oak cabinets because they were in too good of shape to remove. This sink goes perfectly with the new creamy quartz countertops we chose. I love the matte finish and the depth is SUCH an improvement to my old drop-in sink we had before. The color and finish make it so that it rarely looks dirty and when it is it's very easy to clean. Stains and "scuffs" clean up easily. This is my favorite part of our kitchen remodel!

i absolutely love this sink
i absolutely love this sink. deep, wide, can wash cookie sheets in it. I even washed my dog in it. if my son was still little, i'd probably wash him in there too. the material is smooth but matte finish, so it always looks clean, even when it's not quite clean. I was concerned if it would drain properly as many of the large sinks seem to have that issue but it works perfectly and drains quickly. the color is a medium gray, it really doesn't look very metallic. I have Caledonia granite and it looks great with it. purchased a delta pull down faucet from lowes to go with it and couldn't be happier. the template provided was spot on...had no issues with the granite cut matching the sink. if you're replacing a dual top mount, be aware that your garbage disposal will sit much lower and you'll need to do some cutting/replacing of your pipes because the hole is in the center. I hope it lasts because it would be a bear to get it out of there. update 12/19 - this sink looks like the day I bought it. One nice thing that I didn't even consider when buying it is that it doesn't "clank" like porcelain or bang like stainless. I have an open floorplan, so the muffled thud this sink makes is appreciated. i'm getting ready to sell my home and it is the amenity I will miss the most. in fact, I will buy another for my next home.

Buyer beware: Do not buy this product!
Purchased this sink when we renovated our kitchen. We have had it for a year and it is an absolutely nightmare!! We purchased white and have to constantly scrub and clean it so that it does not look dirty! They state that their product is “non porous” however it absorbs anything that you wash in the sink causing a stain and for the sink to always look dirty! In addition to it being a hassle to maintain and clean it already has several chips and holes in it from day to day use. Contacted customer service and was told that they were “not liable for chips, scratches and stains and that is not included in the warranty” For only having and using the product for a year, the quality and durability are poor to say the least. Do yourself a favor and don’t buy this product.
