SAKURA Gelly Roll Moonlight 06 Gel Pens - Fine Point Ink Pen for Journaling, Art, or Drawing - Assorted Colored Ink - Fine Line - 25 Pack

Love these Sakura Gellies! My first order contained only 24 pens, so I had to go through the hassle of returning them (don't get me started...) and Amazon quickly sent another pack. All 25 are now accounted for. If you've never used Sakura Gelly Rolls before, here are a few pointers to keep in mind:1. Once you get the ink going, these pens need a light touch. Imagine you are "painting" with the ball point. A heavy hand will interfere with the ink flow.2. These are fine points so they allow for nice detail work. If you're coloring in large areas it will be a little tedious.3. The colors are awesome and will show nicely on white or black (or any color in between) nicely. I am a Certified Zentangle Teacher and use them in my artwork - the fine points are wonderful and the color palette it simply amazing.4. They will "go on" a little darkly while still wet. Wait a little and they will lighten up as they dry - this is particularly noticeable on black or darker papers. You can go back over them after they've dried if you want a more pigmented look.5. Treat them gently. Don't tap or pound the tips to try to get the ink to flow - just be patient and gentle. Older pens will sorely try your patience on this!!Happy creating!

Tested them all as soon as I got them and they all work and flow perfectly. The ink is so smooth, you don't get lines or globs when you color something in. The colors are very bright as well. I have noticed that they run out of ink sort of fast, which makes sense considering how heavy the flow of the ink is to get the raised/smooth effect on paper. This isn't a big deal to me, as most stationery stores like Michaels have individual pens for sale so you can replace the ones you use the most without having to buy an entire new pack.

Glide easily and great colors. No issues

I love gelly roll pens imo they are one of the best on the market yes they are a little pricey but so worth it some of my pens I have had for years and they still work like they did when I originally bought them I was missing the moonlight pens and this set gives you almost all of them I think there is one more small pack of moonlights I need to buy to finish off this part of the collection but if I remember right you get 25 in this set so it costs about a dollar a pen not too bad I've seen them in the stores for much more and I love all the colors in this set grays and regular colors minus the glitter or metallics it's nice to have just basic colors I now only need the souffle set and I will have completed my gelly rolls if you want to invest in a good set of gel pens that last a long time and are very reliable I suggest you give gelly roll a try I love all the different sets and have lots of fun using them for my coloring especially mandala pattern types of pictures

I do not dislike Gelly Roll pens, but I also do not understand the hype as to why they are so awesome. This set has some nice colors and they write well, but no better than the less expensive sets that I own, which also offer more colors. I like. the gray shades in this set. I will use these along with my other gel pens for my adult coloring, but I cannot say that they are any better than the less expensive sets with three times the pens. I realize I. am in the minority by thinking this, but these are not the most fabulous gel pens ever.

ordered the 24 pack and was a little hesitant because i saw an older review that said there were pens missing from their order, however i did a pen test and counted all 24 pens.it was a little unclear what colors i would actually be receiving in this pack, so for that i am a little disappointed because i thought there would be a darker black and at least one white pen.for the price i think there should be more pens or a better arrangement of colors.i definitely have to order another set to get the basic black and whites that i wanted, and a darker red.beside that the colors are actually pretty great, they write smooth as well.only other thing that kinda bothers me is it’s strange that the ink isn’t filled all the way to the bottoms of the pens.for over $20 i think you should fill the pens completely.

These pens are soo cute. Loved them since I was little due to the fact that they are gel! Going to have to buy some black paper so the colors can stand out more. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because the colors look a little dull after but don’t mind at all since they’re pretty pigmented. Overall, will always love these pens and they’re the moment!
