Own up to your own decisions, woman.
It seems like this woman is jaded because Ace wasn't all that into her. He asked her not to write a book about him. She even says he asked her not to write a book about him. It's more like a constant hit piece against Ace. And her excuses! It's Ace's fault she got into drugs? Bologna. He didn't force you to snort cocaine. You made the choice. Don't blame it on being drunk or tired. You put yourself in that situation, so live with your choices. Stop blaming other people. Hard book to read. She's not exactly a New York Times best selling author and fails to grab and keep hold of you throughout the book. Peter's book was easier to read. Still a better book that what Gene's probably is. I refuse to give that chump a penny. There's my 2 cents, anyway.

Great read
Great book for what I believe to be the true and acturate account of her time with Ace.

Confessions of a jilted groupie
At what point do we say "OK, even though a person is famous, they have SOME right to a private life"? I think this book comes to that point. I believe that for a person to achieve fame, they have to accept that they will have to waive the right to a "normal" and unexamined life to some extent. However, Ms Moore cashed in and with little remorse about her errant ex-boyfriend/employer. To say she violated Ace's confidentially as well as exposed his sexual predilections is an understatement. As a huge KISS fan and with Ace my favorite member, my opinion of the band was not sullied. The people who write these "tell all" books are happy to put up with the drugs and diva-like behavior while the star is burning bright but quickly detach themselves as it diminishes. The amount of "off time" the band spent together was a surprise to me. They generally do not have a lot of positive things to say about each other yet they seemed to spend a good deal of personal time together considering. She paints Paul as odd and dismissive and Gene as rude and condescending. Peter is the only member that comes off relatively un-scathed. Prior to meeting Ace, the author claims to have never even seen cocaine in real life and yet the first time she is introduced to it, she uses it several times in that one night. According to her, Ace practically shoved it up her nose (and maybe he did, who knows?) but it gives the reader pause to believe her claims of being independent and strong and not like the other women in his life if she was so easily led into doing things she resisted. I did not come away from this book with an entirely low opinion of the author (clearly, not a high one either) but there was something self-deprecating about her that was almost charming in a sense. She admits to silly things few would (picking Ace's wedgie and sniffing her finger). Rather gross but still chuckle-worthy. Alas, she gets far more graphic with all other things fecal but this particular anecdote was harmless. As quick as she is to blame Ace for her drug habits, she offers no apologies for jumping into a life of heroin, introduced by her (other) boyfriend whom she has placed on a very high pedestal. Her obsession with this man does lead into somewhat of a yawn-fest as it's really Ace we want to hear the dirt on. No worries, we get pure mud. And great enjoyment out of wallowing in it!

Puke puke puke
This book, whether true or not, was done in such a fashion that literally made me throw up! Wanna be who paints the picture of getting so close to a rock star that he ends up pouring drugs down her throat and up her nose? Seriously? Out of the void and into the garbage this book swiftly went! 🤢

Stories from Ace's groupie
Interesting story from Ace Frehley's former personal assistant/ groupie/ sex partner. There are many pictures to prove the truth of the stories of the wild lifestyle of Ace. The author obviously has a grudge against Ace as she describes him as a selfish self serving person.I am an Ace fan, that is why I got the book. It is an interesting read, written by someone who starves for attention and stardom. As much negative that the author writes about Ace it is interesting that she keeps running back to be in Ace's company. That codependent thing I guess.A good read yet spoken from the point of view of a scorned confidant of the space man.Worth reading.

Read it, but as a cautionary tale
This is a fun read, but I don't sympathize with the author. The best thing about this book are the details of a rock n' roll lifestyle. I find it hard to believe she was quite the victim she tries to portray herself as being. Just another groupie burned by the rich and famous.

Trashy
I appreciate her story and thank her for sharing it. At the end of the day all I got was the story of two users; people who neither loved each other nor were friends. This was pure chaos and toxicity. Sadly, I ended up not liking the author at all after this and saw her as a sad, desperate woman. I am no better either and have been in desperate situations myself.I hope the author can look back and say that she is no longer the woman she was in her youth and that her life is infinitely better now.
