I’ve been seeing either this or one like it in quilting catalogs and sites for years but never got one. I’m so glad I finally did. It makes it so much easier to imagine how pieces will look fitted together. Worth the price and it’s an invaluable tool in your quilting arsenal.

Use your extra fabric in a creative way.

Size is good and, like any mirror, it reflects and makes a good hexagon image.

This is a pair of mirrors, attached with a piece of fabric duct tape, that can be set at different angles on a length of fabric to preview how it may appear in kaleidoscope patchwork (such as One Block Wonder patterns.) I looked all over for small mirrors so that I could make it myself. In the end, I spent more than ten dollars worth of time and energy trying to find the material to make my own. The mirrors come in a ziplock bag that is just barely big enough to hold it, so expect it to tear early on and find a different way to store/carry it.The mirror was a great help in previewing fabrics in the store and now I'm focused on the fun part of stitching them together.

Silvering was protected and blemish free, optically flat and cut square. I had to edit out the vertical seam, but if you're making fussy cuts, it's more than you'll ever need. Not the item's intended purpose, however if it looks good here, just imagine visualizing patterns with it.

Hard to find but do the job very well. Highly recommend you try it
