Samsung Chromebook 2 Xe500c12 Replacement LAPTOP LCD Screen 11.6" WXGA HD LED DIODE (Substitute Replacement LCD Screen Only. Not a Laptop ) (XE500C12-K01US B116XTN01.0 SIDE CONNECTORS)

This is unfortunately not my first screen replacement for Samsung Chromebooks. The installation is as easy as it gets-1. Power off the system.2. Pop the front plastic "frame" off that goes around the screen. Gently pry it off-3. Locate four phillips head screws on the four corners of the screen and remove them.4. Lay the dead screen down on the keyboard and locate the single cable connection to the screen. The cable stays connected to the screen by a small hinged metal clip. Gently pry that up and the cable can now wiggle free from the screen connector.5. Remove the protective plastic film from the new screen.6. Connect the cable to the new screen, close the metal hinge pin that locks them together.7. Put the four phillips screws back in.8. Snap on the plastic "frame" around the new screen.9. Power up and enjoy your new screen.10. Don't be like me and take better care of your Chromebook!

Worked perfectly, fit like a glove & switching the screens out was super easy!

Broke my chromebook screen so this was cheaper than replacing the entire chromebook. Super easy to pop off and back on. However, the first one I ordered had a permanent marking on the screen that couldn't be removed, so I returned that one and got a new one. The second one was great! It looks good as new, nobody would ever be able to tell I had replaced it. There is a tiny like 1mm wide black bar at the top of the screen where it doesn't quite line up, but it's hardly noticeable. For how much it was, this was totally worth it.

I'm always skeptical about replacing screens but when I finally got this Samsung Chromebook replacement screen I hooked it up and it fired right up and worked great so far hopefully it works for the Long Haul

Good screen. Chromebook like new. The screw holes to mount this were slightly out of alignment so I had to make them larger. That is why I am taking a stars off.

My girlfriend's laptop serial number matched this and it said they would fit but it didn't work that way so now I'm out 50 dollars.

Very happy with the purchase. It replaced our broken Samsung Chromebook 2 screen. Fits perfectly. No complaints. It was very easy to install.
