Works great instead of the cone of shame. My dog had surgery. This kept him away from it without the problems associated with a Cone.

It does seem like a sturdy item and will work to keep dog out of tight spaces. I only wish it was black material as it heats up in summer sun and I think makes dog uncomfortable the longer he wears it outdoors. (ps. DOES NOT wear it indoors)

I have a dachshund puppy that likes to chase EVERYTHING. He was getting through the fence but not anymore. Lol!

This product truly works. It's soft but not weighted. You slip it around your pup's neck and they cannot get through the fence. While it keeps the pup safe, the owner gets peace of mind and that's worth everything. Thank you for creating this amazing product! Highly recommend. 5 Stars!

I bought this for a different reason than most. My dog has a medical condition called MegaEsophagus, that means she has an enlarged esophagus which prevents her from swallowing on her own as the muscles do not work. Because of this, food, water, treats and saliva get trapped in her esophagus and causes her to regurgitate, which puts her at a high risk for aspirated pneumonia. She has to eat in an upright position (in a Baileys Chair) so that the food passes from her esophagus to her stomach to prevent regurgitation. She is especially susceptible to saliva build up when she is sleeping or chewing on a bone.This Puppy Bumper has been a life saver. Literally, a life saver. It helps to keep her neck elevated in such a way that the saliva does not build up while she is chewing or sleeping. It is comfortable enough for her to wear all night long; she no longer regurgitates while sleeping and she can chew on a bone with no issues while wearing this. She can get around the house while wearing it just fine, it does not limit her ability to do anything she would normally do.We also used this in place of a traditional E-collar (cone collar) when we had her spayed, it worked great at keeping her away from her incision. She had it on for a full 10 days after surgery. It was so comfortable, she was able to eat with it on while sitting upright in her Baileys Chair with no issues.Right now these only fit small dogs, 10 to 13 inches in neck circumference. I hope the manufacturers decided to make these in larger sizes one day as they can be used to help bigger dogs that suffer from MegaEsophaus as well. I will be purchasing more of these just so I have them on hand in case they stop making them. This is a great product. I don't have a fence or a balcony so I can't say how well it works for it's intended purpose, but I absolutley love this product.

We recently rescued another puppy and he was so tiny he could walk through the bars of our iron fence without even touching the sides. Gunner is a Treeing Walker Coonhound/American Staffordshire mix and being the fearless and inquisitive fellow that he is, we knew we had to do something to keep him in our yard safe and sound.These bumpers worked great, were quick to put on/take off and he doesn't mind it one bit. Now before he goes out he holds his head up to have the bumper slipped over his head. There are velcro straps to put this on a collar but we never used it like that. We just slip it on and off as he goes out and comes back in.One thing to be aware of though ... the fabric is quite thin and the bumper is packed tightly with filling so the dog can't force his way through the bars (believe me he tried). If you leave it on and there is another dog in the house, you can expect holes if they get a hold on it. The holes are easy to sew up though as long as you catch them before the go too far. Gunner's grown so fast already that we don't expect he'll need to use it for more than another month anyway.

Great product, so much easier than trying to adapt the environment. It’s fiddly to put on and off the regular collar. We have the bumper on a separate collar, and just put it on when needed. Other times we just use the popper button without the collar.

My girl gets through our page wire fence, so this is a god send! It will be difficult for her to get off too since it's attached straight to her collar.

Perfect for keeping our puppy safe on our patio!! Highly recommend it!!
