The biggest reason a parent wants a clock for their toddler is to help them tell when it’s time to get out of your room (i.e. when nap is over). The indicator for this clock is a tiny icon of a clock (ok to get out when that tiny clock icon is NOT there). From the pictures of the colorful lights, I was hoping that light color would be the indicator but don’t be fooled like I was.The color around the rim of the clock does change when it’s time to wake in the morning but then it turns off (i think after 30 minutes) So if the child wakes up after that time, how would they know it’s time to get out of the room or stay put ? Very frustrating.

We bought this for our 3 year old to help him realize when it's time to wake up, and when it's time to sleep. It worked RIGHT AWAY. We gave the dog a name, and as soon as the eyes close he was quiet because he didn't want to wake it up.Setup is very difficult, the instructions were confusing and hard to follow so be prepared to mess around with it before you get it to work.Overall the product is really fantastic, they just need to work on a more helpful manual

Love this little guy - tells my kiddo when he can get out of bed by a light and the color options make him super happy. We call him “Todd” and he’s given me the ability to sleep longer!Pros-- the light can be set to stay on for up to 1.5hrs- the “sleep/wake” light alarm is easy to change-it’s cute!Cons-- instructions aren’t the best- sleep/wake light goes on 30 minutes before the time you set...so you have to set it 30 minutes ahead when you actually want it to light up for that functionOverall we like “Todd” and although there was a little learning curve with the details - this has been a big help in keeping our son in his room and giving him an added night light too!

We love this clock! My son get so excited when he wakes up and he no longer yells for me, waking his baby sister! Only miss I see is the nap function....I’d love for it to be like the sleep/wake where I set a specific time or time limit and when that is up it turns green and stays green so he knows it’s okay to get out of bed. Right now it just turns red for a minute then is off. Nap time is what I really bought this for, for now I just use the sleep/wake and reprogram it every day.

This sleep trainer clock is perfect for younger children who do not yet have a good concept of time. The unit is durable and stands up to our daughter occasionally dropping it. My daughter was getting up early everyday and not getting the proper amount of sleep. We use the light and face expression features on the clock to help her determine when she can get out of bed. If the light is yellow she will read in her room and the green light lets her know she can get up. We've had it a few days now and every morning she has waited for it to turn green and has been excited to show us. The other features are also nice, like the night light, nap. They are very easy and friendly to work with. If you are looking for a sleep trainer clock or just a clock for your little one then this is a good choice.

Purchased the penguin for my son's room. It's really difficult to find a light/digital clock/sound machine! I like the animal options this product offers, but wish there was also a more big kid or teen friendly.The noises are ok but not great. Favorite is the water. The music one is a very annoying pitch and just horrible to listen to. Compared to other brands in that regard, this is lacking. Would highly recommend the company add more sounds and better quality music options in a future model.Delivery was speedy and greatly appreciated.

Solo tuve un pero con este reloj la pila interna Yeni un seguro casi que no podemos retirarlo y duramos 3 días para q funcionara sin cable pero todo bien facil de manejar y mi hijo ya se acostumbro y sabe q cuando el reloj se muestra dormido ya debe hacer lo mismo
