Sapori Siena Panforte Margherita, 12.35 oz (Pack of 10)

This was the second time I have ordered this DEE-LISH treat since I got back from Italy. It is a regular offering in sweet shops and restaurants there, and I ate it last year and got hooked. It is very difficult to find here so I was VERY happy to be able to buy in bulk....this awesome dessert is addictive!!!!The best way to describe it is as a VERY VERY dense spicy (as in cinnamon, cloves, etc.) fruitcake type dessert dusted with powdered sugar. It dates back to medieval times apparently.....I LOVE it!!!!!!!

Love this brand. Best panforte, still great after many years. Even after a year was still fresh in foil pack. Always nice to look in the cupboard and see I have one left.

Authentic Panforte di Siena. I bought 20. All persons who received the gift were enthusiastic about this unusual Italian cake.

Delicious but not enough almonds. I've ordered 2 cases of 12 and cut one at a time. Add dry roasted almonds to the package and it is wonderful.

A fine example of a panforte. Good, but for the price, great. Can be used as gifts. I have seen many people try it for the first time and love it.
