The Art of The Mitchells vs. The Machines

It came so fast. I enjoyed this book since it talks a lot about their process and how they did things for the movie. That's something I wish other art books had more of because it made me feel better connected to the creators and know why they chose to do the things that they did. The art is beautiful and it's about the same thicness as the Disney art books (if you were wondering). Great book for the price, and worth every penny I spent.

I received the book with the correct title, so it seems like the book was reprinted to fix the incorrect title. Beautiful art and worth the money for sure!

Some people have been getting this book with the old title, but mine had the correct tile. So not all versions of this book are the same. Other than that, the book itself is great. Great interior art. The animation style is so unique.

This concept art book is probably my favorite! I love the colors and seeing all the early stage concepts for each character. Not only is it fun but it’s also incredibly beautiful!! Especially after seeing the world building backgrounds as well! It makes the page feel like a different universe entirely! One I’d like to be apart of :D

Great stories and background behind the art and movie and fantastic artwork, very inspiring, everything an art of book should be. I rewatched the movie after reading the book and seeing the artwork with a deeper appreciation for all the creative choices and little easter eggs. If you’re thinking of getting this… get it, you won’t regret it.

The book is full of great energetic art that defines "The Mitchells vs. The Machines" and makes it stand out amongst other art of animation books out there. A must-have for any fans of the film or animation in general.My only issue with the copy I received is the book comes titled with the films old title "Connected" and no dust jacket. I presume the title issue is due to the pandemic and the books were probably printed long before the films release, but it is annoying, and I feel a dust jacket with the new title could have easily rectified the issue.

Great book with a lot of information of how the visuals were designed and explored for the movie. Very inspirational and good quality printed pages.A bit confused about how I got the book with the 'Connected' title instead of the revised 'Mitchells vs the Machines' one, but it doesnt detract from the art within the book.

The book has lovely artwork and shows great sketches from the film, but I'm disappointed that it has the wrong title. The book I received was different to the one advertised and has the title Connected instead of TM vs TM. I think this should have been made clear when purchasing.

Wonderful book, if you appreciate Animation design this is a must. The book i received had the retired title ‘Connected’ which is a shame as it wasn’t advertised as such. I would still recommend. Art and Animation fans, pick it up before it sells out

Loved the film so much, i needed to see the concepts and ideas behind the film. Like others, i got the old title for the film, not sure if this changes down the line for new copies but it didnt take anything away from the book itself.
