Bought it as a gift for the Hubs. He loved it. Balanced weight. Single tang. Super sharp. Sheath. Worth the price.

This thing rocks. Absolute beast of a machete. Only thing is the sheath is not well designed and will catch on the saw end. I had to manually rip and tear a section of the sheath off so I can use it properly.

Good weight, full tang so you’ll never have to worry about the handle breaking off. I don’t really care that it’s not a genuine US marine issue machete. If that’s what you want, they use rather plain looking, light weight curved machetes, which can be found elsewhere on Amazon. If you want what amounts to a short broadsword, you will be satisfied. It doesn’t come razor sharp, but easily be honed with a standard handheld whetstone or knife sharpener.

Good weight, grip, balance. Makes me feel like a spartan.

The machete is heavy duty and nice. The color is different than in the pictures though. It’s more of a coyote tan than yellow. The handle is somewhat small if you have bigger hands like I do. I’m content with the purchase. I keep it in my truck for clearing brush or a zombie apocalypse. Ya never know.

Good balance

VERY expressive for what so far seems to be a mostly ornate albeit sturdy machete. 70.78. Not much care was put into sharpening it. Had to put some real Paracord on it. You have to unbutton the side of the sheathe to unsheathe it so it's not very handy in a pinch. Worst part of it is the inattentive sharpening left a MASSIVE lip on the side of where the short part meets the long part and it's effectively shredding the inside of the sheathe. I think I'm going to return this one and go for a much cheaper, simpler more effective design. Or at least buy another one for my actual practical use.

I was surprised with the size of the machete thinking smaller size yet pleasantly surprised to find the hidden treasure. My father served as a marine went home to glory and I am honored. The craftsmanship of the blade is out of this world I felt like I was in the movie Flash Gordon. Very thankful for this and originally bought for yard work yet this piece will be locked into our firearm safe. As you can see the length is longer than a lawnmower bag.
