It's okay, not something the kids want to play, though.
Finding different parts, being able to customize the character, exploring the world & interacting with characters in the world is cool, however, the PC edition of Spore is much better and much more engaging. The game is alright, but in my house it's only been played maybe three or four times. Not something that really holds the kids' interest for long. At the time that I bought this the price was probably under $2 so I can't really complain much.

great graphics, but fussy gameplay
This is a fun family game that will appeal to those who like the Spore pc game creature stage and to people who are new to the Spore brand. The graphics are great and the environment is creative with lots to explore. It is easy to learn basic game controls and fairly intuitive to play. The writers have a sense of humor. Over the holidays my family played together and all of us (all adults) were jumping and cheering, totally absorbed. My only criticism is that occasionally we hit a task that took forever to complete because although we had the right idea of how to solve it, we weren't performing the functions quickly enough, in exactly the right order, or with the right timing. That got frustrating, but there are some online hints and tips to be found. Overall, this game was well worth buying and has been hours of fun.

game came in perfect condition! Game is kinda fast to the end ...
Game didn't come in a case, but rather a paper cover. Against all odds though, game came in perfect condition! Game is kinda fast to the end but it's definitely worth it if you have children or if it brings you a feeling of nostalgia

A Bit Boring
Compared to the PC version of Spore, this game is quite dull. If you are looking for a game for younger kids, it should do nicely, but if you're an adult looking for a fun, creative expirience (which is what Spore is all about), I would skip this. The idea of Spore is to create your own, unique creature using a variety of body parts like wings, antlers, body shapes, etc, and help that creature grow and evolve in it's enviroment. Unlike the PC version, which has a plethora of ways to customize your creature, the WII version is quite limited. Gameplay feels clunky at times, and the enviroment (think Spyro) can become a chore to navigate. Kids aged 7-10 would most likely find this game enjoyable, but not older kids and adults.

Beautiful graphics, progresses slow enough for beginners yet full of quests and variety.
Got it quick, is a super fun game. My 6 year old is learning to read and can follow this game pretty well without too much help on the reading. I actually want to play it- great graphics, you choose to accept quests, multiple customization options for your monster. Just started playing it but looks like a favorite that can go for 40 hours...

Not as good as the PC game Spore
I was amazed at the PC version of spore and wanted to see how this would work on the WII. Do not get it expecting the same play style as the PC version fitting a action specific story mode.
