BLARIX Guard Pea Whistle and Lanyard

This is exactly what you want in a low cost whistle. It's a basic plastic pea whistle. Bright color, low cost, and pretty loud. We bought this for the lifeguard at our community pool because he didn't have one and my 3 year old thought he should. Also bought the same whistle in yellow for my son so we get to hear how loud it is first-hand in the house.

VERY LOUD. Tested it in my apartment and had tinnitus for a few hours.I like the sound of a Pea-Whistle better than the Pea-less type, regardless of the fact that they can get nasty inside over time, or freeze up in extreme cold (the moisture in your breath can accumulate on the small ball (pea).However, that sound caused by the little pea rotating around in the chamber commands more attention than the pea-less type whistle, in my humble opinion.Very happy with my purchase.

A cheep feel but okay for what I paid

As a referee, having the players hear the whistle is essential. This whistle is easy to blow and always produces a loud and clear sound. I bought another one for my daughter, who also is a referee. She loves it!
