Nexus 5X Case Full Matte Slim-Fit Flexible TPU Case (Revision 2) for LG Nexus 5X (2015) - Black - (N5X-FM-BLK-R)

Exactly what I wanted for my brand new LG Nexus 5X. Light weight, thin, not bulky. Added protection around the back camera lens keeping the lens keeps the lens further off the surface when laid down. Same for the screen, the lip around the screen is perfect, and adds about 1-2mm of space when laid down. The lip makes it easier to handle the phone too. And hte Nexus 5X needs it too, because it is a slipery one, and I could easily see it sliding out of my hand. Had to be careful when handling it. But the case resolves that. Love the the look and touch of this smooth matte rubber case material. Really, the phone should be manufactured using this same case material. A perfect matte finish that gives you some grip. Excellent. Not fancy. Fits snug as a bug in a rug. The sides are not loose at all on my Nexus 5X. Buttons work perfectly. Highly recommend.

This is not my first Diztronic product, I had the same type cover on my Samsung Galaxy S4 also. The TPU material makes a great substance for a phone cover. I love this phone cover. The Matte finish is easy to grip and stylish, yet still provides protection. The fit on my LG Nexus 5X is perfect. The case provides adequate coverage for the entire phone and has enough lip on the front to protect your phone when you place it face down on a surface. Even with the coverage that you get the case still seems to have a slim/ no bulk added feel to it. The case adds no noticeable weight to the phone. All cutouts are present for the phone to function as designed - this is important, some phone case manufacturers are missing the hole for the lower microphone and it causes a muffled sound. I am also using this phone with a magnetic phone holder where I have the metal piece stuck between the case and my phone and it holds firmly through this case. You can't go wrong with this one.

Sturdy, clean, unassuming, well aligned.The black color is excellent, if a bit fingerprint prone. I like it better than previous cases I've owned for the Nexus 5. It seems like a big black slab on the back with no logos, and it makes the phone seem very sleek but not showy.I don't really use the fingerprint sensor but access to it seems good.Buttons have a good amount of resistance (not too hard to press). Nice touch including markers on the buttons for + - volume and power.The only downside to this case is the front area. Lip edges for the front screen and the camera have appropriate depth for protection but come in a bit too much, so my Spigen GLAS.tr doesn't quite fit into the front area. I haven't decided yet which to actually use.

This is the third case I've tried for my Nexus 5x, and it's by far the best. The fit is great, no problems there. It is very thin and doesn't add much to the bulk. I think I wish I'd gotten the one with the extra material in the corners, but I've dropped this one a couple times and it has survived in good fashion. It has a decent sized lip on the front so that is keeps the screen from touching any surfaces. The lip is very small though, so it doesn't interfere with or overlap with my screen protector (I use  Nexus 5X Screen Protector, PLESON® LG (Google) Nexus 5X Tempered Glass Screen Protector [2015], 99% Clarity, 0.2mm, 9H Hardness, Bubble Free, Glass Screen Protector for Nexus 5X - Lifetime Warranty  and it is great. Also highly recommended).The cutouts for the camera and flash are pretty dead on, but the finger print sensor cutout is slightly low. It's not off enough to affect the function of the sensor (I didn't even notice it for a long time).The cutouts for the USB, headphones, and mic are ample, and the TPU around the ports is a bit thinner than the rest of the case. This seems like a very well thought out design and it works great for me so far. I've used many USB-C cables, and several headphones, and they have all plugged in just fine.The last big feature that I love is the ease of pressing the buttons. The TPU has tiny slits along the sides of the buttons which makes them very easy to press. This is a great feature. Other cases have been very difficult to press the buttons, but this one feels 100% directly tactile to the buttons on the phone. It is by far the best of the 3 I've tried.I would definitely buy this one again.

Ever since I discovered Diztronic, their TPU cases have been the ones I recommend to friends & family. So naturally I waited for these to become available for my new Nexus 5X. These are leaps and bounds above those cheap, generic TPU cases you find on eBay. The matte finish provides a good grip and gives it a more mature image, not like those loud, shiny, rubbery generic ones. The buttons are satisfying to press and I appreciate that they designed a little indentation between the volume +/- buttons to help differentiate them by sense of touch (instead of using the original single bar button design of the 5X). The case is also raised around the rear camera hump, providing ample protection. The fit and finish is almost perfect. I noticed the fingerprint sensor cutout is about a millimeter off center but the cutout is big enough that this is basically a non-issue.All in all, I'm extremely satisfied with this case and would not hesitate to recommend to others. Considering the cost, this is an outstanding value (especially when considering the equivalent Adopted case direct from Google is more than double the price). Keep up the good work guys!

I like the product design. It fits the phone perfectly. The machining and cuts are extremely good. It has the right dimensions and surface finish. As an engineer, I am not sure how effective this will be. Trying to keep it as simple as possible: When the phone falls, the most expected regions of failure (corners where the contact stresses are high) might need a combination of hard and soft material (think of rigid plastic and rubbery material). This particular product is somewhere in the middle. Though cosmetic appearance are great, I am not sure of protection gained during falls. Diztronic might be able to provide some quantitative data from their fall tests. I would suggest beefing up the corners with a gel/soft material

Spilled water on my desk and my phone was partially sitting on the puddle. Didn't worry too much because of the seal around the edges that this case has. Lightweight and not bulky. I like how the texture is rubber but not too 'sticky'. It gives a good grip on my phone. Easy to take on and off. I have no issues with the fingerprint hole.

Je n'ai jamais laissé tomber mon téléphone, mais j'ai le sentiment que la protection est raisonnablement efficace. Et en plus, elle est vraiment discrète.

Ho scelto questa custodia dopo un'attenta selezione. Questa, anche se non è molto recensita qui, è una delle custodie di maggior successo per il 5x sull'Amazon americano.Sono molto soddisfatto. La plastica è decisamente di ottima qualità, attutisce i colpi ma è bella rigida e non prende assolutamente impronte. Ha tutti i bordi al posto giusto e in particolare si può appoggiare il telefono sul tavolo sia davanti che dietro senza rischiare. Ha anche i buchi dei microfoni, cosa che altre custodie non hanno.

Excellent case. A little "chunky" maybe but the TPU material is perfect - solid and stiff enough that it doesn't "flop around" and warp out of shape like ultra cheap rubber cases and doesn't tend to let dirt in, but soft enough that it hasn't (in the time I've had it so far) caused any scuff marks like hard plastic cases do. This case just has a really high quality feel to it.As others have noted the fingerprint hole is not absolutely 100% dead-center but I really think that's nitpicking. It's not obscured in any way.I haven't tested dropping it or anything like that. I think it would protect the phone for a small fall better than some others with it being fairly chunky, but that most cases (unless something like an otterbox) are really more for protecting a phone from scratches and scuffs when placed on desks/tables/etc. than for surviving falls.
