An excellent collection of James Mason films from the 40's and 50's.It includes "ODD MAN OUT", brilliantly directed by Carol Reed and one of the all-time-great British movies, in which Mason plays an injured IRA gunman on the run in Belfast.Then there is "THE MAN BETWEEN" (set in cold-war Berlin), "THE BELLS GO DOWN" (a story of fire-fighters in the London Blitz), "THE MAN IN GREY" (a Regency melodrama), and "FIVE FINGERS" (a 2nd World War spy story based on true events).Along with their other merits, the first three of these movies are interesting historical documents, with a wealth of location footage. There are also two interesting bonus items: a documentary narrated by James Mason about his return to Huddersfield (the town of his birth), and some unedited takes of a TV interview.A consummate professional, and certainly one of the greatest British film actors of his generation, James Mason is always a joy to watch, and no more so than in this collection.Five stars and no doubt about it!

A great set of James Mason movies. I saw The man between, years ago as a young teenager and it has stayed in my mind for many years and now i have had the opportunity to watch this womnderfull film. as yet i have to still watch the oter movies but i am sure each of them shall measure up for james was one great actor.ken barrett Mooroolbark Victoria Australia.

Old-fashioned, but Mason was one of the best actors of his generation, and always a pleasure to watch.

This was a good buy when one considers what each film would cost indivually. The Bells Go Down seemed to be thrown in for filler. It was somewhat entertaining, but not as good as the other films.
