This was my first attempt at using a quilting machine. I read how important it was to replace the needle for each project. I searched for the correct type of needle and found these. The price was very reasonable. They made a huge difference in how fast I was able to quilt and how nice the actual stitches came out. No skipped stitches. No thread tangles. Only me getting out of the lines. I would definitely recommend these to other machine quilters.

Great fit, long lasting, not terrible to thread, sharp, I love the case that they're in too, only 2 open at a time so you don't have to worry about all of them sliding out. Overall great purchace!

I bought an old APQS Ultimate II, and while the lady kindly included a couple needles, they didn't have any info with them. The manual specifies a Singer industrial 1955-01-MR 4.0 needle that doesn't appear to be available anymore? At least, I couldn't find any. These are a compatible alternative.

Very Happy I made the switch from regular GrozBeckert needles. Using in my HQ16 long arm and these needles last longer than the standard ones. Bird nesting and skipped stitches are gone!
