At first this charger worked really well and I was very happy with it. Then suddenly the wires were coming out, plugged it in, and it doesn't work anymore. So I'm very disappointed. I would recommend NOT to purchase it because of this.

I buy this USB charger mainly because of the charging light. I like to see the light light up to let me know that the phone or other device is charging or being powered. I have 10 devices charging or being powered by these Rapid 2.1 Amp Home Travel Wall Charger Adapters. Three phones, four cameras, Indoor Christmas lights, and two OontZ Angle 3 (3rd Gen) - Bluetooth Portable Speakers.

The first charger that I purchased from the same company was a a identical Verizon unit without the labels.To clarify, the base 2.1 Amp charger unit was identical to the Verizon but the 6' LED light cord was NOT.And the cord is very important to the success of this unit because let's face it, most 6'+ charger cords suck.As a result, it doesn't charge as fast. Maybe 25% slower than the quick charge(same as the first one I received) micro USB OEM Verizon unit.

I purchased this charger for use with my cell phone and my tablet after certain canines in the family decided that the other cords were chew toys. I have had it now since February and it is still working perfectly with my devices. The light on it is very bright which helps when plugging the device in at night but as someone else said, it does light up and go off randomly which is annoying when using by the bed. I have solved that problem by turning the device upside down so that the light is down. That helps. That said, it seems to work well otherwise and does what I bought it to do.

Great charger other than the fact that the light on it to be able to see in the dark to plug it in comes on and goes off whenever it wants so it randomly blinks very annoyingn!!!!!

Just got this, I needed a second charger for travel, plugged it in did NOT work! Am returning it! UPDATE 06/13/15 got to try another cable from a friend, His worked with my base, the problem is in the plug that goes to the tablet. the cable is defective and the base works fine. Have to see if the company will exchange the cable.

This is a good charger. I like the convenience of having both the wall outlet and the usb cord. To truly meet the claim of "travel" charger, though, I think it should be able to be used in a vehicle.

The item came very quickly, and was exactly what I ordered. I wanted a spare for our country house. I would recommend the product to anyone who has a Blackberry phone.
