In first place I very much like the condition of the book. Really good as it was said. Then I am very satisfied and happy (I can say)to have a great book for any person studying art !! This type of book is really difficult to find in my country. A must-have. And finally that it was delivered the promised date!!See you soon

The subject matter of the book is excellent in breadth & depth. That is why I rated it 4 star.The writing is burdensome. Long, winding sentences and very detailed "art speak" actually make the reading less enjoyable.Brevity is a virtue in writing.

This is a big, heavy book, and it must have been dropped during shipping and slid inside the loose packaging, such that the inner joint of the spine got ripped off... but I like the book, and it arrived a day early.

The best part about this book is the writing. Simple and complete. There are images are throughout this book. But this book is about the story of art. The images of the art tend to be small and underwhelming. The book is also a tome. It is not easily held. But if you are interested in learning about art from 1900 to 2015, this is the book.
