Songs of Cricket

A variety of cricket songs,in turns witty (try "he Rules of Cricket" expertly sung as a psalm), moving (Roy Harper's " When an old cricketer leaves the crease" banal, but again expertly sung (various school songs) plus amusing Rory Bremner takes on TMS commentators, this will enjoyed by cricket fans and others who appreciate fine music making.

An interesting collection of songs.

This was a gift for an avid cricket-supporter who also likes silly songs! It was on his wish list and he loves it.

Too many of the songs were repetitive and trivial...The spoken word is usually far more effective.There are poems, essays and extracts from stories which are more convincing. Tiniswood's humorous contributions are an example.
