I’ve bought these twice and yes there are duplicates. Mine were mainly duplicates of black, which I use a lot of anyways. It is fun getting surprises and I will probably buy some more of these in the future since it is a deal.I am also becoming an embroidery thread addict, so these are a cheap way to not feel guilty.

Perfect for a collage quilt! Lots of useful colors that work perfectly that I never would have purchased. Great value.

I bought 2 of these, and got 14 duplicates. Lots of greens (which is fine because Xmas is coming up), but no reds, pinks, oranges) decent price for $1 a spool.

I use Maderia machine embroidery thread for my Bernina embroidery machine and it works very well. So, I can recommend it for your machine. However, this time I was looking for small spools of this same thread to use for hand applique sewing. I wanted several colors to coordinate with the various prints I use in my quilts, so getting this value pack was a good way to get a lot of colors for a good price. The pack was complete with the correct number of spools and the thread is high quality. I was disappointed that I received 2 spools of the same color- 2 rust, 2 brown. But I do understand that is a chance I take purchasing this type of product. It was less expensive than purchasing the spools separately. I would buy it again.

Here are the colors I got in my "grab bag" of thread.1 black1 white1 dark brown1 light brown/tan6 shades of green4 shades of blue1 bright yellow1 gold3 shades of gray1 wine redIt would have been nice if there were more of a mix - six greens...that's a lot. But it's a grab bag and I'm sure I'll use all of the colors.The package reads "Assembled by Madeira Indonesia from German Origin." On top of each spool it says, Made In Germany. Lost a star for fully HALF of the spools being blues and greens. Not as much variety as I thought I would get.

I had a few of the colors already but some of the thread I didn't have. For the money it's worth it.

This is my absolute favorite embroidery thread I have used so far. I have a brother embroidery machine, just an SE425, and it's super picky about thread. I ruined sooooo many shirts before I figured out that my problem was thread choice!! This thread stitches out beautifully, has gorgeous color, lasts a long time (at least on a 4x4 field size), and doesn't get eaten by my machine or cause my machine to eat my project!! I did get a bunch of greens, which I wasn't really excited about, but I knew going into this that the colors were random and I might not get the ones I wanted or might get some I didn't. I'm definitely going to order more of these and build up my quality embroidery thread stash.

I received a wonderful selection of thread colours. These are for a gift, so I haven't used them but I am certainly tempted!

This is my second order in a week. I love the colours I’ve received.
