This leash is well constructed & lightweight. I have a small dog (Pekinese) & this leash is fully functional and has not irritated her neck. Highly recommended.

I bought this to help with training my 2 m old German Shepherd puppy. I bought this brand specifically based on a YouTube dog trainer whom I respect, Stonnie Dennis. He was right, it’s a great training tool! I’ve been using it specifically to teach my puppy loose leash walking and leash pressure. It’s easy to put on and my puppy does not mind it at all. We’ve been using it for about two months and I’m about to retire it as he’s graduated to a real leash. I don’t recommend using this if you’re taking your dog to the park. Great quality, love the color, and it works really well for controlling my strong-willed Morkie (Maltese-Yorkie). She is the first dog I've owned that is more interested in her desires than mine. My dog trainer said, "She's a good dog, but kind of a brat!" He recommended a slip-lead that will tighten around her neck when I need to get her attention. It has helped tremendously in getting her to discover what behaviors are appropriate, and which are not. I don't jerk it or pull it so tight as to harm her, but gentle pressure is applied to the point it becomes uncomfortable to continue the bad behavior. As soon as she stops, I loosen it. She get's the message quickly. I bought several leads to have them handy around the house when and where I need them. This one is by far the best quality, and just the right length. The cord design (rather than flat leash style of my other leads) seems to work much more smoothly, too. I would recommend this product.

This leash is very thin and small, so make sure that it will work for your dog. It’s great for an emergency leash to keep in your bag or vehicle.

I loved it.. I show dogs, anything between Daschunds, French bulldogs, Dobermans, Goldens Retriever, Boxers, you name it... this lead will work as a back up lead for any of them. Usually I have one for each dog, but things happen and I need to have my gear secured and tested. This one is flexible, yet resistant, discrete, not too long or short. The right thickness not to burn women's hand but to keep control of your dog at all times. I LOVED it, and will be buying more of different colors.

The main issue I had was this does not have the leather stopper to keep the leash from falling off. Otherwise it's a very nice leash, lightweight and good for training a puppy, or using on a well trained dog. I was looking for the type of leash Stonnie Dennis uses, and ended up getting the slightly thicker Mendota lead that does have the stopper.

I was excited to find this lead in purple, but it does not have the leather slide to stop the loop from falling off my puppies head. The seller needs to change this listing, it doesn't work the way it should. It might work with an older dog, but it certainly doesn't work for a young one. I've used and enjoyed other Mendota products, this is a huge disappointment.

I like Mendota slip leads, and as an owner of several larger diameter ones, and several more that met their demise, I am familiar with product use and quality. However, this small one bought for a Chihuahua lacks the same feels for me due to a simple lacking in the details of the logo embossed leather tabs.I do like the super light weight of this one though, and the color remains saturated as the larger versions.NOT recommend for the pullers.

Suitable for Papillon, does not get stuck in her coat and releases quickly when the pressure is released. Easy on and off, and fits nicely in a small pocket when she is off-leash.

La correa es perfecta si tienes un perro pequeño que no tira o tira muy poco, es como una agujeta gruesa. muy delgada pero resistente, a mi perra que es una bichòn le es muy còmoda y a mí también, cabe destacar que esta adiestrada y creo que un perro que tire con más fuerza la puede romper.

Tengo una bulldog ingles de 9 meses y compré esta correa para entrenarla para competencias caninas de belleza, es buen material, muy resistente, práctica porque la puedes meter a tu bolsillo, y me ha servido mucho! El envío llegó en tiempo y forma!

Good but bit expensive

Looks very smart and sleek. Using this on a small dog at shows and its perfect- dont think it would stand up to daily use or strong pulling dogs
