Norpro Canning Ladle,Black

I wasn't buying this for canning, but just for a regular Ladle to have around for soup and such. The handle is very long and it would not fit well in my drawer. I'm returning it but only because of that. It's shiny so it doesn't seem like it would stain and it would clean nicely. It seems durable and I like the hook.

I just started canning, and ordered this especially for filling jars. It is an oval shape with a pouring spout on both sides. I have a much nicer round stainless steel ladle, but it does not have a pouring spout shape and I really needed a pouring spout for cleaner ladling into a funnel for filling multiple jars. This all-plastic one works well for that. I wash it in the dishwasher, top rack and it was fine. . I don't know why the shape is oval instead of round, but it worked great for the purpose I bought it for, and I like the hook on the handle for hanging it on the side of a tall soup pot between uses. It should work just as well for other purposes, but I will keep it with my canning tools.

Just what I needed and it works great.

A little more than I would normally spend on a ladle, but worth every penny!

Gets the job done

I bought this ladle to pour concrete into a squeeze bottle for a project I am working on. It works great and and the clean up is easy. I have used this everyday for the past few weeks and have not had any issues.

Great to pour into canning jars! Very easily able to dish out chili quickly for family of six! And has a little hook to prevent the ladle from falling into the pot.

I especially like that this ladle has a way of attaching to the side of the pot. It's well made and with pour spouts on either side, it's convenient!
