Great system with alot of flexibility
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. So far this LED strip has been stellar. I got it for use in my home studio to add a little flair to the background and its been perfect for that. At 9.2ft its not crazy long, but I knew that going in and it fits perfect. From what I can tell you can cut it down to your needs which is probably great for most people using it on a computer (the USB on the back is perfect for that) up to a larger TV which I might yet do!What really makes this great was the ability to add it to different apps if you want to. I added it to the Tuya Smartlife app after setting it up into AP mode (the slow flashing mode), from there connecting to wifi was easy and it instantly appears there and even Alexa immediately sees it! Beyond Alexa there are a ton of other preset features like a color parade and even music sync.My plan now that its all connected to the smart life app, I have a raspberry pi running home bridge that can connect it to HomeKit with a bit of coding. Overall I’m super happy with this guy! Now I want one on every tv and computer I have.

Great gaming light for PS4 or Computer Monitors
I spend a little too much time on Reddit looking at gaming rigs and wishing I had something that I don't. That being said, quite a few people suggested that a good quality-of-life improvement for gaming rigs is to add LED strip lighting for ambiance and to push one's focus toward the screen. Honestly, I just liked the look (see photos) and wanted to upgrade the aesthetics of my setup.Installation of this light strip was simple. The strip can be cut in specific spots; those who need a shorter strip can make one without having a curled excess strip end piece. The strip can be powered off a USB hub (found on most modern TVs), so a separate power supply is not needed. I already had my streaming device plugged into one of these outlets, so I ended up plugging the LED strip light into an old phone charger in the power strip behind the TV. Note that if you do plug the LED strip into the TV's USB port for power, the strip cannot remain on without the TV being active. I chose my alternative method in case I wanted ambiance without my TV being turned on.The strip is a little shorter than enough for a 50-inch TV; I had about a gap of one foot missing lighting, but this was at the bottom of my TV where my PS4 is blocking the lighting from showing anyway (see photos). The adhesive is a little weak and will have issues going around corners (tight angles pull the adhesive loose). I found that electrician's tape allowed for a flush appearance, assuaging my OCD tendencies. Most will not run into problems; just make sure to clean the dust off your TV before applying.Setup with Alexa is very simple. Some reviews complained about trouble setting up this device, however, I found the printed instruction guide to be exceptionally helpful and clear. For those who might be returning to the reviews for troubleshooting help-- make sure you are installing the "Gosund" skill within the Alexa app, alongside the "Gosund" controller app. Without the skill installed, Alexa will not be able to understand that the LED strip exists. This is made very clear in the manual, but it seems like several users missed it.The lighting can be adjusted within the app and voice commands from Alexa can turn the light to various colors. Overall, I am very impressed with this lighting solution, as the integration with Alexa seems to be consistent and the lighting is very amenable to customization.

Best Tv LED!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I want to say thank you! Your product so far has been the best LED lighting system I've ever purchased. At first glance I thought that not having a remote posed a issue. However, the sync with app feature was so simple to do that I actually prefer it over having to use another remote. The Alexa feature hands down blew me away! Install was painless and fit as directed on my 65" TV.My daughter just ordered one for herself and her best friend ordered one for her husband as a surprise gift!

Too small to surround a 55” but the customization is cool
I am actually returning it because it’s too small to go around the perimeter of a 55”. I would prefer to place it near the edge because you can make it brighter or softer - but when it’s placed behind the tv towards the middle it’s pretty much just softer, at the brightest level. I also would like for it to surround the whole tv, not just three sides (I must have looked at their diagram wrong). If the size works for you, then you might like this product. The instructions in the packet are correct - the ones in the app are wrong. To set up to your phone in the app just hold the button for 10 seconds or so for rapid blinking, and 10 more for slow blinking.I love that there’s so much customization options. From brightness, saturation, strobe or fade colors setting and speed. It’s really cool. The one thing that sucks is the music feature. It doesn’t really go to the beat, it seemed to be pretty random pulse and pretty slow (I tested it with an easy dance song). Tried playing right from my phone as well as an external speaker and yeah it doesn’t really work. But it’s not the main reason I bought it so that’s ok.

Absolutely love this
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I had bought one of these in the past from Walmart for a few bucks but this one blows that one out of the water. The actual strip has a thick protective coating instead of that cheap flimsy paper one that I had before. It syncs with music, it syncs with movies, and it turns on and off with my google home. WAY brighter than I expected based on my old one.

Easy to install
I love the fact that it was easy to install. They have a much stronger adhesive and the give extra 3m stickers to make it more secure. We plugged it into the back of the TV and it worked!Installation: Easy-though going around in a square around the tv makes it difficult. but you use the black 3m tape for that.Connectivity: Works well with Google home and alexa. you are able to change different colors using your voice. It took a couple of tries but it works well now.Length-we have a 65 inch tv it barely made it around but that is my fault, it does say limited to 60 inches.I will purchase this again.
