Works as advertised!
I only have 2 HDMI outputs on my projector and I needed more to add my soundbar, fire stick and Roku Ultra. The HDMI switches I own had no ARC, so I couldn't get my soundbar to work with my streaming devices. My Roku streambar wouldn't controlthe volume on my projector or Fire stick so I ended up buying a Sofabaton X1 which allowed me to control my soundbar on my Fire stick and built in Google tv but it has a noticeable delay when adjusting volume, play pause, etc on my Roku Ultra and Ipreferred using my Roku remote. With the OREI switch I connected soundbar to ARC on switch and I could control the sound again on my Roku and there was no delay like I had when I use Sofabaton which I still use to control Fire stick and Google tv. The only thing you need to be aware of is there is about a minute delay for volume control to work when 1st turning on TV or switching inputs but after that no further issues. I'm just glad to be able to use my Roku remote again! The OREI has a large button on top for switching inputs easily or a small remote that works fine if you're further away from it.I've had it a few weeks and it works great. What surprised me is when doing a search looking for the best switches there were only reviews ofSwitches with no ARC control and none even mentioneding the OREI.I'm sure there must be a lot of people who have soundbars also, that this would be perfect for.I found the OREI by doing a search on Amazon for switches with ARC and theirs had the most compatibility with all my devices at a reasonable price. So I highly recommend this for anyone that needs ARC control, as far as I'm concerned this should be at the top of the list for best switch reviews ARC or not!

Expand your number of HDMI ports
Too many things to connect to HDTV and not enough HDMI ports. So, this device allowed me to connect a couple of more items (FireStick, LaserDisk player, etc.) to the TV. Works as expected. Comes with a remote control so input can be changed from a distance.

Works but not Perfect
This is one of the only HDMI switches I’ve found that works as advertised with ARC. I have one HDMI 2.0 UHD input on my TV but a bunch of devices I want to use plus external speakers. This will take the audio from the other inputs on the switch and route it through the ARC. At first I had some issues with picture, but I just needed a new HDMI cable. The main reasons for 4 stars is that this unit DOES NOT auto switch inputs which I have found very useful in other HDMI switches I’ve used. And the ARC can act a little finicky depending on your setup. Much more affordable than a new TV tho and worked well enough for my purposes.

It works!
I needed more HDMI connections for my TV and this switcher was exactly what I was looking for. I especially like the ARC (audio return channel) feature. It works like a charm!

The automatic source switching works perfectly!
This was one of the more expensive HDMI switches, but it's absolutely worth it! We needed an HDMI switch because our TV was wall mounted away from the electronics and our house only had one HDMI cable patched in behind the TV. Rather than reinstall the patch with multiple HDMI cables, we bought this switch and we're very happy with it. The best feature is that it auto-switches! We have our Comcast X1 box and a Sony Blu-Ray player connected. Whenever we turn on our Blu-Ray player with the Blu-Ray remote, the HDMI switch automatically switches over to the Blu-Ray, so don't need to physically press any buttons on the HDMI switch and we never use the little remote that came with the HDMI switch. When we turn off the Blu-Ray player, the HDMI switch automatically switches back to the Comcast X1 box. We don't have any problems with TV resolution or anything during the switch. Before we were using the switch, we were manually changing the HDMI cable between the two boxes, and we would always have to turn off the TV during the change because the picture wouldn't come back. That problem is completely gone with the HDMI switch. I love it!

They say it's hooked up wrong to get out of replacement
In photo is from return policy look it up.....The switcher does not support Dolby visionIt flashes the tv screen on & offAnd sometimes the audio drops outI tried to get a replacement a few times& they said its hooked up wrong or the cord is to long.. .. so how do you hook a HDMI cord up wrong the ports are labeled.I also replaced every cord that was a foot long just to triple check everything... so i did lose my money

Really nice to have, pain to switch the inputs
It's great to have all of my consoles hooked up to one switcher that I can switch through whenever needed, but man, the remote it came with really isn't great. Most of the time you're stuck switching through the inputs with the button on the actual switcher, instead of the remote. Not to also mention, there's little to no indication as to which is the correct source you're trying to use. You kinda just press the button to switch inputs until it works, which really makes it hard to use too. With all of that said, I'd still recommend it if you're in the market for something like it. The picture quality is exactly the same as if it were directly input to the TV, the sound quality is the exact same, and its compatible with any device that uses HDMI output.
