Good basic boot
I purchased these when my dog needed an injured paw constantly covered. I tried to find something simple and affordable and these were the winners. They are great for giving a dog's foot basic protection as well as being simple to put on. The quality is pretty good too. I just pop them in the washing machine when they need to be cleaned. Fit seems to be true to size.I wouldn't assume they are waterproof. However if what you need is a light protection boot - these are a great value.

Slightly disappointed
These shoes are well-made, but, like many reviewers have said, they are very difficult to actually use. The top part that fits like a sock is too short for our Lab’s front feet. They get caught on her dew claws. The Velcro fasteners are very long and because you have to fasten the shoes very tightly to keep them from coming off, you end up wrapping the Velcro strip around the paw almost twice. Last but not least, the shoes twist around so that the protective bottom of the shoe ends up on top of the paw repeatedly making you have to stop and put them back on correctly. We probably won’t buy these again.

Helpful for my dog but could use minor changes
I have an ageing border collie who has recently started walking 'on her toenails' when going downstairs (typical sign of anxiety when dogs get arthritis and have trouble maintaining balance as they age). My husband is a veterinarian, so together we discussed ideas about how to solve our dog's new problem of going up and down the stairs. We have tried surgical tape (which worked really, really well but is expensive); making our own socks with fabric glue on the bottom for extra traction (they slipped off her feet too easily) and bought other boots for her, but found that the traction on the other boots were only on one little area of the fabric and too difficult to secure on her paws. Finally we found Lonsuneer boots and we've had better success with them.I think the makers have a good product, but like one of the other customers wrote, the boots do have a couple of minor flaws. One: the boots should be longer so that the Velcro straps can be tightened near the elbow of the dog, not behind the dewclaw. It's too easy for my dog to lose her boots when she's on carpet, and the straps tightened so close to her feet seem to bother her a bit. Two: I think the surface of the pads could be a bit stickier as far as traction. When my dog is laying on a smooth surface, her feet continually slide to the left or right, not able to gain traction on the smooth floor. So, you may ask...why do I consider the product 'good' when the boots are still lacking in traction? Because she doesn't walk on her toenails when the boots are on. She places her entire pad on the stairs and walks with confidence, and has not tobogganed down the stairs since I bought her the boots. (And, once she got used to them, she doesn't seem to mind the straps as much.)All said: I think this is a very useful product that would be even better with some minor changes made to them.

NOT MADE FOR RUNNING!
I have 2 huskies that I run on a regular basis. Due to the artic blast I wanted to buy some booties to protect their paws from the negative degree weather and road salt. took a chance on these booties and to say the least I'm not impressed with the quality. the photos are the result of 3 runs 16 miles total. Maybe these booties would last longer if you just walk your dog. But even then I dont see them lasting too long.

Great product at a great price!
One of my Goldens blistered her back paws playing on hot pavement right before leaving on vacation to the lake. She could barely walk. I bought some different "hiking" boots for her to wear to the lake swimming and playing on the sand. But when we came back to the condo, I put these on her and she wore them all night. They are great because they are breathable and comfortable, unlike the other boots. Most others say that they shouldn't be worn for very long periods of time. These seemed to be fine for long periods since you can even see the little holes in the red material. Air is able to circulate in these booties. She got used to wearing them quickly. I would recommend having an extra set in case one gets wet. They seem to be very sturdy, as well. I would buy again (and I have). Just make sure you get the right size. The first set I had was an extra large, and too big for my 95 pound Golden. But she still wore them. They just dragged a bit and there was too much material in the toes. The next set I bought was a large, and they fit perfectly! Love these!

I thought I was buying another brand
I was totally disappointed with I got these. I purchased a larger size that were too big for my pup so I went back to my orders, and used the item I had ordered to choose a smaller size. This is what I was taken to and since I was in a hurry, I didn't pay much attention to the brand.Well when these arrived with this cotton top, I knew I messed up somehow. I live in the desert so the cotton top just makes my pup sweat. It's not pleasant to take these off and find that his fur is all wet. They just do not breath like the tops of the other ones.Buyer beware as I feel that this brand hijacked another listing.

Not Nikes but work great!
I had purchased some dog boots at Petsmart just to get an idea how my dog would react to them. He was pretty much ok but they just didn't fit right. So while browsing Amazon I came across these and loved their suggestions for sizing. Tracing the dogs foot made sense and gave us a chance at a good fit. They came quickly and I tried them on Tucker right away. First time epic fail. He kept walking out of them but I realized it was my fault...I wasn't putting them on properly. So I put them on for about 10 minutes a few times a day. I found that putting them on Tucker was much like putting socks on a baby. I had to be sure his dew clawas and nails were all the way on.Today we went grocery shopping and he was a star...styling his new shoes. They were securly on and didn't come off till we got home. The hot parking lot didn't bother him and he didn't even chew or lick on his shoes. So I would call this an epic SUCCESS! Even if I have to buy a pair every year it's well worth it.

Wow, this type of paw cover has design issue.
I did look at many reviews about dog paw protection set (not just from this seller) and saw many positive comments, So I thought I would like to have some protection for my small pug on the sharp dry grass during summer/fall season. This product looks great when I received it. I can easily put it on and tight it by folding the nylon strip (it is too long though), but it worked only in a few minutes. I tried several times and eventually gave up. There are several fundamental problems for these type paw protect cover. it is very hard to keep the cover on since the dog leg near the paw are very flexible, there is no way to tightening it without potential hurting dog legs. it may work for one dog but not for all dogs since dogs have different leg length. When dog walk around, their front paws reach almost same place, so stepping on each other, putting dog in danger, either twinning the cover bottom to side or losing the cover , falling out later. Anyway, I gave up to use it, these cover may be good for big dogs, definitely not my dog.

These Dog boots are good.
I liked these boots.... I thought the sock upper was good. Easy to get on, not too heavy, They stayed on and seemed comfortable enough for my pooch. Certainly saved her paw pads. Although you do need to make sure they are not too tight around the dew claw when securing them.

Great product but not that durable
I got it because I didn't want to wash my puppy's paws every time I take him out. It's an awesome product. Easy to put on and to take off. He seems really comfy rather than the plastic ones but it's not that durable as you think. But I would buy it again.

To Steph
The measurements are wrong. I did the measurements, and they came in, and it did not fit my dog.
