TAJ Uncooked Phool Makhana, Fox Nut, Popped Lotus Seed, 9.5-Ounce - Jar

So this is my second review of this item. The first time I did not give it a good review because they seemed very stale and tasted terrible. But the truth is, it was because they were unroasted. This is my first time buying this in this particular state and I did not realize that they had to be roasted and seasoned. The ones I have bought before from another vendor came in flavors and I wanted to try some natural tasting ones which is why I tried these. My initial impression was that they tasted like styrofoam packing peanuts. The container is not marked well that they need to be cooked further. In a label that was added for inventory I realized that it was referred to as uncooked lily seeds even though they are popped which I'm sure requires cooking. Anyway, I retract my previous review because I roasted them tossed in a little bit of Olive oil with some truffle parmesan and salt and they are absolutely delicious and it could not have been an easier process, it took less than 8 minutes and they are fabulous. I will definitely order these again in the future.

These are delicious if roasted with ghee/butter and salt in the air fryer or on the stove. Love to snack on them

I love popped water lily seeds. Unfortunately these arrived completely stale and inedible.

This taste really good. Sauteing it in ghee, I add cinnamon, almonds, and and other nuts. I have to be careful cause I could eat more than I should. My new popcorn.

Add a little gee or butter in a skillet toss a little bit of Maggie marsala seasoning into the mix pour in your lotus seeds and then pour a little bit more Maggie marsala seasoning on top and you have a perfect savory snack. I love these, the're better than popcorn to me.

Price better than grocery store, excellent packaging packaging and of course delicious with ghee

Unable to return. Waste of money. I didn't even open the bag. I saw the hair and didn't even want to open it.
