These boys are THICC! I have large hands and can still shove my meat mitts into them and still work my fingers. I do wish they had a vinyl covering so I could handle meat with them but that's not the type gloves these are.

These Kingford Grilling gloves are nice for BBQ grilling. I purchased a pair of gloves on sale for $15. It feels like you have big gloves on, but still have good dexterity. First, I tried them on an open fire over the kitchen stove for a few seconds and I did not feel any heat. Then we tried them on our Weber grill and they worked great. I used them to move the charcoal around after pouring out the charcoal. It started to feel it warm after about 10-15 seconds of moving around the charcoal. I use them to take off the steel grill when the charcoals at full blast, did not feel much heat either. I used them to flip the stainless steel skewers with no problems. So they give plenty of heat protection when working around the grill.Cons:1. After about 15-20 seconds working around charcoals, remember to pull them away to cool them down. Otherwise you will start to feel the heat. But I think this is normal for this type of glove.2. Do not get them wet because the water will turn into steam quickly and burn you quickly.3. Do NOT use them as potholders or oven mitts. I tried to use them to pour tea out of a pot with a stainless steel handle, and after about 3 seconds it got so hot that I almost burned myself. From my experience, if you start to feel the heat through the gloves, then you have about 1-2 seconds to drop the item or you are going to burn yourself.Overall, they are great BBQ grill gloves that gives you heat protection around the grill when you need it. Just remember it has limits.

I use a Weber bullet smoker to do my smoking (hate it). When adding wood or coals the door is very clumsy and it's cramped to get the coals and wood in, so it's easy to burn yourself. Makes reinstalling the door a lot safer and burn free. They come up over your wrists for added burn protection. I'd buy again

I have never used BBQ Grill gloves before this and I am happy I have them. I always fought through the heat when taking the temperature or basting on the grill. With these I don't have to. I am not in or above the grill for a long period of time, but for the time it takes me to do what I need to do I feel no discomfort at all. They do restrict a bit versus a bare hand but you are not burning yourself while doing what you want in and over the grill.

One size DOESN"T fit all. They are huge and if your hands are not that big, these won't be comfortable.

Very good heat resistant gloves
