A Year on Adam's Farm: An interactive, lift-the-flap board book for children

This is the most beautiful book, load with farm information and illustrations that any child over 3 will love and enjoy. Fantastic value for money. This book is going to be read over and over. Educational and fun.

I saw this book being promoted by Adam on tv and was very interested in getting it for my grandson as he is very interested in farms and animals. I am saving the book as part of his 3rd birthday present but am excited to read it with him. It has beautiful illustrations and is also factual which is important. Children love to sit quietly and look through books and this is a great one!

Board book, Some interesting information but no flow to the book. Hard for my 8 year child to read.It had to be read to her. Did not hold her attention. The print is too small for the age group book it's intended for. Was excited to order a Adam's book but disappointed. It is unlikely to be a book pulled out to read again..

Highly recommend this .Have Been Reading to my 18 month old daily ,He absolutely loves it and asks for it daily .He loves the different coloured tractors ,the pop up windows ,the animals, the pictures .of farm machinery and crops .We live in the countryside surrounded by farms. A great book ,lots to see and talk about .Will last for years as can expand on as he gets older.

This is a delightful book with informative, ‘small print’, for an adult to read to a child and many flaps to open to entertain a younger child. The contrast is great as it gives the adult an opportunity to discuss and explain. There are plenty of other, ‘lift the flap’, books with or without words that are more simple. This book fulfils a different role.

Got this for my grandson after seeing it on This Morning TV programme.Daughter says it is a lovely book.

I used this book for comparison with my own farming days. It is sad but it did not give me the advances in farming that I would have expected. The story for a novice is excellent.
