PyrexEasy Grab 3-Quart Oblong Baking Dish

Had to replace my pyrex 8 x 8 dish as it had cracked. I like these better because of their handles. My microwave has a convection oven and these will fit nicely on the rack. Just be aware these will probably not work for simple microwaving because of the handles making them too large to freely turn on the turntable. However, if you have a rack like mine you can microwave but will have to turn the dish manually after so much time. For me this is not a problem. I also liked the fact that they came with lids. However, the lid material is a stiffer plastic than what I would have preferred but we shall see how these lids hold up after several years of use.

Pyrex pan and bowl set. These are what you expect, glass pans with plastic lids. I am not a super fan of the lids, but it's good to have them if you need one. The other thing is - the handles - I have a love/hate thing going on with those. They are so handy when you need to carry them, take them in and out of the oven - the bummer, is trying to tote them around - in a cooler, or other. The handles just get in the way! Over all, I like a good quality glass pan. They wash well in the dishwasher. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. I also have the 8" x 8" and the 9" x 13" dishes along with this 9" x 4" loaf dish. All 3 dishes are robust. Thick glass and handles. Easy to clean.CAVEAT. The lids on the former two fit snug and also feel robust. On the loaf dish, that lid is SUPER FLIMSY right out the box. The "clips" on each side are thin and the lid doesn't snap in place. If just hold it at a 45 degree angle, the lid will fall off. Disappointing considering the other lids were of premium quality.

It's Pirex, so the quality is 5 stars for sure; however, I don't know why they slanted the ends on both of the larger cookware pieces. It makes for uneven brownies, once cut, they look funny , not squared off like I'm used to. That said, I love the plastic covers, they are snug, and can be thrown in the dishwasher. I use the small bowls all the time, great size for a single portion leftovers! Example of edges: \_____/ Rather than |______| I hope that explains what I struggled to put into words! I kept them, just wish they were squared off like the other pirex I own.

I make banana bread every so often. I like the lid for storing and for taking it to potlucks.Lid could be a bit tighter though.

Love this as an alternative to a non-stick loaf pan. It works beautifully but the lid is annoyingly loose.

strong quality glass. dropped one of the smaller circle pieces almost as soon as i got it and it survived. cooks great in the oven. love the handles and lid design.

I really like this Pyrex piece but wish I hadn’t spent so much money on it. For some reason this size seems to be hard to find so I caved and purchased it. However, yesterday I found one without the lid (which I really don’t need) for half the price. Live and learn I guess.
