Very useful product; improvement on older version
I bought this to replace an older one which had given me many years of service (I had bought it from a well known high street electronics retailer who is no longer trading), and it's an improvement because the shroud around the edges is slightly deeper so it is solid against the wall on flush-mounted sockets (where you don't need to use the supplied stand-off legs, which I have not tried), whereas the older once it replaced moved when you operated the switched as there was a slight gap between the edge of the T-socket and the wall. On a previous post, there was a comment about it not having a British Standard fuse fitted, but I checked the fuse on the one I received and it did have a BS1362 13A fuse fitted.

Build quality could be better
I bought this extension socket as it is one of the few with the sockets above the plug which I needed. My immediate impression was of a product that does not appear robustly built and one of the switches caused intermittent power to the left-hand socket. 3 of the 4 sockets work and, even if I was unlucky enough to get a faulty unit, the overall build quality and reliability does not inspire confidence. All this is a pity as concept of the unit is good and it comes complete with adjustable pads to ensure it fits flush with the wall behind it.Overall, great concept, flawed execution, to be fair, though the seller was helpful.

!!Avoid!! Dangerous, stops working and then sparks. Cheap rubbish.
Had it for 8 months and it's has slowly stopped working over the last 6 months, one socket at a time. Only one works as of now.I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and assuming it's just a faulty one and giving the seller the chance to fix the situation.I'll update on a couple of weeks, whatever happens.

A handy t shape wall extension. However needs fuse upgrade right away.
It's a good extension. works perfectly for my setup. it supports 13amp meaning you can put around 3200 watts through it. The actual draw capacity from the main line will depend on the ring setup you have. Just check your trip switch box if it's either B10, B20 or B32. All of them can handle up to +3 times of their capacity before they trip. So calculate from that. But you'll need to upgrade the fuse. the fuse they have(pink on the picture) is weak, couldn't even handle 2700 watts. Once I put in a proper one I can easily run 3000-3500 watt throughOn the second picture, you can see I have connected 4 appliances. A microwave(900w), toaster(500w), coffee machine (1500w) and Nutribullet(400w). That's 3300 watts. I rarely use them all at the same time, but I tested it for any case and the extension can handle it(if you have a good fuse). Just don't plug your kettle in it if you can. It will eat out 2200 watts from the whole capacity of the extension. Mine plugged aside. Two gang wall sockets are usually 20amp(up to 4800w).It's a bit bulky but not as bulky as regular 2-way cube extensions so should save you a lot of space in the back of your appliances. And I wish colouring wasn't so obtrusive. The bright red led lights, then right blue rim lines then green light from the surge protector. A lot going on.

Doesn't fit. Despite claiming to work with flush or raised wall sockets.
This product is exactly what I am looking for, a T Socket mains splitter. Supposedly compatible with raised and flush wall sockets. It doesn't need to be screwed into the wall, so suitable for rented accommodation. However, it's not compatible with flush wall sockets after all. It protrudes so far from the wall, that the pins don't make contact and don't get power. In order for this to work, you'd need to saw away some of the plastic. I don't even understand why this was designed in such a way, there are adjustable back supports, why couldn't the plastic rim be flush, and the back supports be more adjustable/alternate sizes.I can't use this. And now I'm stuck with it as I can't return it for a refund as the only return option is for me to have a printer at home, which I don't.

It’s okay but the fitted fuse must be replaced.
It’s okay but the fitted fuse is fake (wrong colours & no sand). This is a safety issue. Before using you must replace with a genuine BS1362 13a fuse from trusted source (e.g. a large DIY chain or local electrical wholesaler).
