An excellent book published to accompany the artist's retrospective exhibition, 1992-93.As one would expect, it covers Flack's work across her entire career with fine examples of her painting and, latterly, her sculpture.The book contains 132 illustrations with 65 plates in full colour.Primarily known as a Photorealist, her earlier work shows a fascinating development through expressive figuration almost to Pop-influenced painting before she developed her mature technique and approach.A fine volume on an important and – I think – underrated artist.
