PINK FLAMINGOS

While John Waters has stated his early films will not be released on DVD he obviously thought differently in the past as he has clearly been involved in this release by providing a commentary and a selection of deleted scenes. This French version is the full version, not the print savagely cut by the prudish philistines at the BBFC (though they did offer in 2008 to give the uncut version an 18 certificate), you cannot turn the subtitles off but you may find it a good excuse to extend your vocabulary. The quality isn't great but seeing as it was made by a bunch off misfits for $12,000 this is probably the way it has always looked. A lot of extras so you can't go wrong :)

This is the only film you will ever see where an actor actually ears dog poop, but in a distatefully, transgressive and expressive way. Then there's the singing sphincter... not for the feint hearted, but definitely for Divine and Johan Waters fans. Unequalled in bad taste! Fantastic. Completely unique film making...

This is strange - now at the age of 54 I can imagine that I really would have enjoyed the film during my 20ies. At my current age, it its more than a puberty relict of passive aggressive style by John Waters. Reminds me to Robert Crumbs pictures….

I love this film. I love Divine. Never fails to make me laugh. They just don't make films like this any more.If your a fan of John Waters this is a film you must see.

One for your dvd collection, i love divine my brother got me into john waters films!!! Must buy!! Its great like a black comedy.

I only had one isssue while watching this controversial film. Chicken!I did not feel comfortable while that scene played out, apart from that if you have never seen this film it is quite an eye opener.It shows its age now but still good to have in the collection.If you like to have a real copy to hold like I do and not a fan of this bloody digital age grab a copy....today

Watched drunk with my wife on boxing day. Staple of movie nights ever since. This is a glorious, terrifying masterpiece that will never be equaled for sheer comedic shock value.

this film is insane it takes bad taste to the extreme but is so funny it gets away with it.john water's films are always good fun and if your not easily offended its a must buy.just dont watch in front of the kids or your parents!

Pink Flamingos is finally on Blu-ray but still banned in Australia (as far as I know, it still is). Picture is as good as one would expect Pink Flamingos to look, but it's the best it's ever going to look. Fantastic!

Peccato non ci fosse una versione italiana del film però nonostante tutto non delude una visione veramente particolare e divertente, chi è fan dei film eccessivi questi sicuramente si posiziona sulla top 10 ,visione unica assolutamente consigliato

Grande fan de Divine et de John Waters, ce film est un must have ! Cultissime, irrévérencieux, choquant, tous les ingrédients pour passer une soirée unique en son genre

this is a region 1 DVD, which i cannot watch here in europe. it says right on the back of the packaging that it is not for sale outside of the US. i did not see this information anywhere on the amazon.nl listing. very disappointed.
