The main advantage, apart from its excellent range of modules, is that it does NOT include a security module (antivirus, Malware or Firewall). I have noticed that of late a lot of the alternative programs have been including security modules and in some it is not even possible to turn these off. I have used another maintenance program for years and the latest iteration suddenly included antivirus and firewall which caused a major conflict with my Bitdefender Total Security. I wanted to keep the excellent Bitdefender product and fail to see why a maintenance program should include a security module which cannot be turned off to allow the use of a decent security program with many years of good reviews.If you want a good maintenance product with excellent results but want to keep your security program then I would highly recommend this program.

I was using a different program to tune up my PC but decided to change to AVG PC tuneup. It costs the same money £15. I paid but when I tried it, MAJORITY of features are LOCKED until you subscribe to a yearly payment method. This is not what they advertise and it is a SCAM. Be upfront to the customer that if you pay £15 you will not get all the features. I now regret why I left the company that provided ALL the features I needed. It is software how do I get my money back?

I bought this product as my computer was getting slower by the second. I am an old fogey of 70 summers, with a smattering of knowledge about managing IT. But I downloaded the AVG software, loaded it up, and set it to work clearing of the old crap that was cluttering up the hard drive. It’s made the world of difference, and my PC is now running like a sewing machine - well not exactly, but you get the analogy. Worth every Penny I’d say.
