Last year I purchased a 'Magnipro' magnifying glass and found it very satisfactory apart from a somewhat erratic rheostat on the light. I returned this item and had a replacement sent which I still use. I tried to get another one in September, and was sad that it seemed to have gone out of stock, Last month, I tried again and I was delighted to see that it had not only returned, but now had a better lens, a more reliable rheostat and was re-chargeable. No more need to change butteries. The magnification is better and the rather irritating small lens in the main glass has been removed! Well done "Magnipros" This is an excellent product

I realised that in the last few years it has become increasingly difficult to read small or faint print when the light is not good enough and I needed help. I did use a friend's German-made reading light but it was far more costly than I wanted to pay for something I use only occasionally. There are plenty of cheap ones but I was not convinced they would be satisfactory.I was taken with the features of this light - rechargeable, dimmable and a convenient shape and size. It is solidly built and I am hoping this means that it will last. The only drawback is that it is quite heavy but I suppose you can't have everything and I would certainly recommend it. It even comes with its own drawstring bag and cleaning cloth.

LED lights make using it very clear. Being Rechargeable is brilliant as no batteries to buy. Very easy to hold (even with my arthritis) and it's very light too!It is the best magnifier I have ever bought.

When working, it works pretty well, but the switch seems faulty to the extent that most of the time it doesn't turn on! I am constantly having to play with the switch to get it to work.Now it's packed up altogether after three months of use,Additionally it needs almost constant charging. I use it for about 30 minutes, and it need to be recharged!

Ordered due to age related macular degeneration and this item is great. Much easier for reading with the large shape and lights. Highly recommend.

The magnifying glass has a 4X image and ten LED adjustable lights which make it easy for me to read small print.It also came with a USB cable to charge the battery

I bought two of battery option models, and liked them so much I bought this rechargeable model.So, it it a bit more stronger as far as magnifying, but not too much. The adjustable lights really make a difference, and it charges easily with the USB cable supplied. It is well balanced, and fits naturally into your hand, which is what you would expect.The lens gives a very good view, without any blurring at the edges, or overall giving a very clear view.A Good buy.
