Anyone use both root riot and rapid rooters? Which do you prefer?

I have used them both and I prefer root riot. I use all organic soils. A friend of mine grows hydro and he prefers the rapid rooters. I had roughly the same success with both.

Why does it seem the roots dont go through the block?? We cut 150 clones and 2 weeks ago and still no roots

Are you keeping the plugs and atmospheric conditions correct. Temperature and humidity have to be spot on. You can't use PH up that has potassium carbonate in it! If you use any potassium carbonate? You just messed up the whole batch..Its something that I just recently learned. I don't even use it to PH correct my mother plants anymore. I use a brand called Alchemist PH up 4alkali. Since I have switched? I don't have slow clones anymore! Also I use a foliar spray with 5:2 fulvic/humid acid and seaweed extract in a 400ppm concentration twice the week before taking clones. Also, at the very first sign of roots appearing? I start a mixture of the Clonex clone solution in minimum strength with just a touch of unpasteurized organic honey. The honey kills fungus and gives hormones plus first carbs. We clone material as large as big as .30 of an inch. Also daily misting with the clonex mist helps...It can be cheaply made...read the ingredients and buy some simple grow chems? Also alone vera is a highly beneficial addition to a cloning program. But seriously get a heat mat, a digital temperature probe and hydrometer. Don't cut corners and follow the directions exactly. If the plugs seem dry? Mist with PH correct distilled water and clonex cloning solution at minimum solution strength. Keep your lighting low for the first 3 to 5 days. I put the clones in the refrigerator for a week before stabbing them! The cold helps. Then I stab them in cubes and into a 76° 98% humidity florescent light chamber. I about 5 to 7 days I have to give them their first nutrients. At day 10 to 14 the humidity gets reduced and they go into Solo cups and medium with real nutrients. By day 21 they go to entry veg. Not sure exactly,  but its just a lil plug..

Ive had best luck dipping in my clonex then rooting in water first, then i open it like a hotdog roll, place plant in it, then finishing from there🌱
