HiplokZ LOK COMBO Multi-use Security Tie & Bike Lock

We bought this as a little deterrent for taking the bikes away or to lock outside a cafe. Although it was VERY stiff to set the code in the "set" mode, once set it works fantastic. We also used it to lock our paddleboard bags to the harbour when we went out for a paddle. I appreciate it's not the most secure lock in the world. But we only expected to use it as a mere deterrent.We think it's great for the money. And it's flat shape fits nicely in a cycling jersey back pocket or jacket pocket.

Very pleased with this lock, great design, light easy to carry on bike & seems far more secure than other coffee stop locks. Only small issues is the size of numbers on combination lock. Probably fine for young cyclists but even with my specs on difficult to see, especially in poor light.

First things first this is not designed to be the main lock to lock up your bike PLEASE don't use it for that. This lock is more for a quick pitstop to get a drink at a shop or going to the cashpoint. I will be using it to lock my front wheel to the bike frame with my main lock when I want to leave my bike for longer, it is good for your cycling accessories like bike lights and helmet which you may not want to carry with you. It is well made and the metal strap is thicker that a thought it was going to be. For the purpose it was designed for it will do a vary good job. BUT again not to be used as a main lock for your bike.

The lock failed to open after just 4 days of use. It was locked around a set of skis and had to be cut off (which was worryingly easy). Tried for an hour to fiddle it unlocked, the code was correct and the lock would tighten but could not pull the release button back enough to unlock it. Terrible product that could leave you in a messy situation.

Use mine all the time for short stop offs or with cable for more security. Light, quick and easy to use.

This is well made and feels sturdy but setting the locking code requires dexterity and, once set, it can be very difficult to unlock if light is poor. The numbers on the dials are hard to read in good conditions and the wheels have an imprecise feel about them.

Nice and lightweight easy to use . My yellow one failed and it's not even a year old . Locked my bike up in York Railway Station under cover for the night and went to get the bike today . None of the numbers would engage and unlock . Tried twice before having to traipse 30 mins home amd back again with WD40 and cutters . I then had to faff around twice more spraying sed WD40 into the lock which failed then had to go find a police officer showing him proof the bike was mine and to supervise the cutting of the lock to retrive my own bike so I didn't look like a criminal . Buy with caution . Also these are not wire cutter proof

Great lock, light weight, easy to throw into a pack. Its NOT for locking your bike up and leaving it unattended. I use it for locking the pedals or to a fence or bike rack which is close by like 5-10m and in sight. Will slow down any opportunistic thief if you have stopped for a coffee / snack somewhere.

I use one these in addition to my serious lock to prevent opportunistic theft of a wheel or seat, which has happened more than once. Also when the bike is mounted on the car and I duck into a restaurant or store.

Fits inside my riding jacket pocket and I use the handelbars between my risers to attach this to and lock up my helmet. Works really well.

Das Schloss hat ein schönes kleines Packmaß und lässt sich schnell überall verstauen. Als Hauptschloss würde ich’s nicht verwenden allerdings um mal schnell Brötchen zu holen und das Fahrrad schnell zu sichern ist es perfekt.

Für den schnellen Einkauf beim Bäcker perfekt aber länger als 30 min würde ich es nicht benutzen 😅
