Consistent Quality Control Issues
The Stanford series of Nietzsche's is the best available today. I've now collected all of the main series and am on my second read through. These books are pricey, but the paperbacks are of exceptional quality; the organization, page weight, typesetting, and binding are about as good as possible for a paperback. That being said I've consistently had problems with quality control — both volumes of Human, All Too Human being severely misprinted such that the page is shifted up and the header is almost cut off. And this isn't just a few pages, but the entire volume. Returns are inconvenient, and for a series that is so pricey this should not be a consistent issue.I still recommend this series for the serious reader of Nietzsche, but be careful when ordering.
