The connection gets loose when both tubes are attached
individually, they work perfectly but when I connected both of them to my lens, I noticed that it was slightly loose and occasionally preventing data transmission between the lens and camera.

Macro extension tubes
The item was delivered promptly and well packaged. Unfortunately, I am not finding the tubes great quality, the connection to the camera is not secure and has a bit of play in it, particularly so when using both tubes together, the auto connection kept dropping out as the tubes moved...... the description is not accurate as they are not made of metal, only the connections are metal, rest of tube is plastic. I would return them but don't want to have to go and drop off package due to current situation......

Well engineered and robust.
There's not a great deal you can say about extension tubes as there are no lenses inside them but these are well designed and engineered. the electronic contacts align with the cameras own so; any auto-focus, auto-aperture lens works perfectly well with these between the camera and lens.

Bargain macro adapter set.
I've liked JJC's innovative and clever products ever since buying their automatically opening lens cap for my Ricoh GX200 camera, many years ago. This set of two macro extension tubes are a real steal for the price in my view. Because there's no additional lens involved, the camera sensor sees a completely undistorted image. The correct electrical contacts are built in to both tubes, so that all the camera's automatic lens functions work as normal. The tubes fit between lens and camera body. They connect in the normal way with a standard M4/3 bayonet fitting. The smaller tube adds 10mm to the length, the larger one 16mm. I can add both together on my Panasonic camera body but it asks me to set it to "shoot w/o lens" if I do. The lens still works though.I know that extension tubes can introduce distortion, especially at the edges, and they cut down the light reaching the sensor. But by leaving the camera on its automatic or Programme mode it will compensate for this if enough light is available. This set is a great way for converting a lens for macro shots cheaply. For some the results won't be good enough for exhibition shots, but for me it's an economical way to see whether an investment in an expensive macro-dedicated lens is worthwhile. I attach a couple of shots of household objects as examples (these have been taken using my camera's automated focus stacking for extra clarity - but that's not necessary to get results). The quality of manufacture is very good, with the tubes mating with lens and camera with no play in the fitting observed. A lens cap and a body cap are included, plus a soft pouch to store the tubes in (with drawstring closure and a sturdy attachment clip). For the price, compared to much more expensive camera accessories, the value is excellent. The tubes work as described and involve no lengthy setup. Recommended with enthusiasm. I tested the Micro 4/3 version.

Inexpensive Occasional Macro Option
Extension tubes are a good option for taking occasional close-ups of subjects. Initially when I fitted both tubes to my camera the autofocus did not work, but after swapping the combination around, and refitting the lens the autofocus worked well, it may have been a sticky contact. The extension tubes fit snugly onto mu Fuji X-T20, and I've tested these with the Fuji 18-55mm kit lenses, the 16-80mm f/4, and the 35mm f/2 lens. I obtained the best results with the 35mm prime lens, and you can see from these un-cropped images the close focusing of the bear, first with just the 35mm lens, then with both extension tubes fitted you can get very close to your subject. For best results use manual focus, I would have liked to have a sample of a focus stacked image, but my X-T3 is away for repair. The extension tubes are well-made, sturdy, and come in a little storage pouch, I'm very pleased

A big disappointment !
The first time I have ever bought a non-Canon accessory and it was faulty. The 11mm tube works fine. The 16mm tube doesn't work at all.Camera displays "communication error".I suppose that's why Canon charge many times more.To be faulty straight out of the box is very poor indeed.

Good macro alternative
I had fuji 80mm macro lens which is an excellent but expensive lens. Substituted for these extension tubes and Viltrox 85mm auto focus lens which give me similar functionality and big savings

Works well
I have used this to increase the magnification of my macro lens.AF still works and although I normally use manual focus for macro it is handy to be able to tap the auto focus to get in the right area before fine tuning manually. The connection is sturdy and the bayonets lock well.
