I was worried by some bad reviews but I'm so satisfied.
The media could not be loaded. I was surprised that it was delivered faster than I expected. And also, as you can see, there were many live bugs in the bottle. They are very tiny but still if you stay still and watch, you can see them moving. They are very healthy. After pouring some soil from the bottle to my plants' pots they seemed to disappear but if you dig the dirt up you can still find them. I was worried because some reviews said this company sends just soil or other types of pests. But in my experience, I'm so satisfied about their product and I would order again in the future. And I think unless the weather is too cold or too hot, it would be fine to order. Thank you for the good product.

Fast, effective, least labor intensive treatment for snake mites.
The media could not be loaded. My snakes somehow got snake mites, which are a serious pain to get rid of. I read many success stories from snake keepers about using predator mites to get rid of them with no consequence to the snake. I decided to give it a shot. I bought the hypoaspis miles as they were recommended to get rid of snake mites. They arrived even earlier than the estimated arrival date, and were reasonably priced. I distributed them in the enclosures and left them to do their job. Within 24 hours, the snakes stopped soaking and I didn't see any mites. I messed up, though, because I forgot to mist the enclosures (hypoaspis need high humidity) and the snake mites came back shortly. I bought another bottle and have been diligent about misting. It's been 3 weeks and the snakes are mite free! I did see a few on my albino retic, and impulsively bought another bottle. I should have waited as the snake mites were gone before this order arrived. That's ok, though, as the hyoaspis miles will take care of any eggs or larva that may potentially still be there. I am thrilled with the results and highly recommend predator mites. They only get on the snake to eat any snake mite on them (we actually saw 2 of the predators go after a snake mite on my albino). Otherwise, you'll never know they're there. Definitely one of nature's good guys!

Always Glad to Have NatureGoodGuys Products at Affordable Prices. My Go-To for Beneficials.
Bought an army of Hypoaspis Miles from NaturesGoodGuys about three times now in the course of two years, right about the time when it is getting warmer season and then I bought a third for my outdoor plants. I have a digital microscope and check on the density of the mites. There are always plenty to spread around. It is simple process and easy to do. Plus, this company always works with you if any dead on arrival happens (I also buy other predator mites, green lace eggs, and lady beetles from them, out of that only happened once with the mites and once with the green lace eggs, no fault of the company but the USPS delivering late during the summer weather).Folks, Miles Hypoaspis predator mites work to reduce if not totally eliminate your fungus gnat problems, especially for indoor houseplants. Disclaimer though: but not overnight. The mites eat the fungus gnat larva as well as other soil dwelling bugs like spring tail. Eventually the numbers reduce to a point where the fungus gnats are gone. But that is usually a span of two weeks (some say more, about a month, but that depends on how many plants you have and how often some of them need to be watered). Just make sure you don't neglect one pot as a main vector nest, where the gnats will use to reproduce and has no miles mites to eat the larva. All containers must have the Miles Hypoaspis predator mites distributed in them.As stated above, I went ahead and also had bought some for my outdoor household plants just in case some of them were breeding out there and somehow when I open the doors they might fly in. But this was just a precaution. I did see the numbers diminished outside my balcony and parts of the garden where I had containers and pots. I think they are worth the investment as fungus gnats do carry plant diseases and the larvae eats the roots of plants. Plus, who wants annoying gnats trying to fly up your nose or see them commit suicide in your morning coffee? They are annoying and knowing that an army of Miles mites are doing all the work for you by eating their larvae--is satisfying. And it is a passive approach: you do not have to really do anything except maybe reduce your watering as much as possible. No need for hazardous chemical plant sprays.Stratiolaelaps scimitismites is its new scientific name, if you want to just Google it or look them up on YouTube. They work but remember you have to give them time. I think some of the reviews here are from people that had thought this was an overnight solution to their fungus gnat infestations. I have a lot of plants indoors and outdoors. So every season, if NatureGoodGuys keep the prices for the amount and quality the same AND with the same fees for shipping and handling (let's face it, some other companies unreasonably overcharge the heck out for their S&H, believe me I've checked and compared), then I will certainly keep buying Miles predator mites from them as well as other beneficial bugs. I am just a hobbyist and NatureGoodGuys let's me afford beneficial bugs rather than having to dish out money for harmful chemicals that are also hazardous to you and your family as well as the environment.

Bad company bad product!
I contacted the company. When I received my bottle, there was no movement. When I put a sample of the product under a microscope, there were a few bugs, all dead. Here is the reply I got to letting the company know I did not receive live delivery. Let it be known, I bought multiple items for bug control, none worked AT ALL! Bad company with bad service!"Mites are harvested daily by hand per order and are verified alive, active and healthy by 3 separate people before being packed. They are extremely hearty and transit tolerable. They are smaller than the period at the end of this sentence and opaque so you will have a very hard time seeing them. We include an ice pack which we do not at all expect to be cold upon receipt but it does help keep them semi dormant during the less than 24 hours they are in transit so upon receipt you will not see much movement. Once they are released and begin to feed they will become more active. It does take a few days to establish themselves and another couple weeks before you start seeing a decline in the pest population. If the population was already established or large we do recommend a release every 2 weeks of fresh predators until the infestation is under control and to keep it under control. Please keep in mind the infestation will always get worse before it gets better. "

Completely and permanently eliminated fungus gnats
It took a month or so to work but these guys completely eliminated my fungus gnats and after many months they still have not returned. Haven’t even seen 1 in a while. That’s because these bugs stay in the soil and live off organic debris even after the fungus gnats are wiped out. I wanted a more permanent solution after others were only partially effective and temporary. It took a while for the fungus gnat numbers to start going down so be patient. I should also note my eyes are good enough to see the tiny crawling bugs so I could confirm they were alive. I couldn’t see many because they’re hard to see but I saw a few.
