This looks like a generic case. It probably is. But it fits the HTC One M8 pretty well. It's about 1cm (or 1/3-inch) deeper than it needs to be - meaning you could slide a pencil in at the hinge of the cover, but the phone fits well, and fits snugly with the Dot View cover too.It comes with a stylus and tiny cleaning cloth. The stylus will slide right through that extra space when the phone is in. But I don't really consider that a problem.The clip is strong (so far - though I've known these types to work loose/off before) and the leather seems good. And it arrived quickly. An excellent deal for a fine case.

Fits the HTC One M8 (sprint, harman kardon version). It has a hole in the middle at the bottom so you can push up and pop the phone out. I look for this on every case I buy, so that was a nice touch. The clip has a metal piece at the end which prevents the material from being pushed up and leaving a bare metal clip after pushing this onto and off of a belt over time. Also another big plus as I experienced that exact scenario with another case on a previous phone. I use this every day and take it on and off of my belt a few times, with no signs of wear. Great quality and value.- update 3/4/16 -A few months back the fabric around the metal clip came off. I figured that was inevitable, and kept using it. Then the fabric and rivet that held the metal clip to the body of the case itself came off, so the clip was no longer attached. As that was the main feature I was looking for, I was a little perturbed.. but I figured what the hell, I'll loop my belt through the belt loops. One of those broke today, rendering this case useless. I got about a year and half use out of this for roughly $10, so I can't complain, but I am now searching for a case that I can buy once. Smart phones typically last 2 years (length of lease or contract) before you're off to another, so considering this didn't even make that, I'm a little disappointed to say the least, especially since out the gate there was so much promise.

Case is sturdy and would fit the phone with a medium thick protective case.I have the HTC Dot case and it is fine. Strange thing is that if I put the phone in the case with the screen to the back I get no signal. Turn the phone around and it is fine. Must be something to do with the antenna and the magnetic catch placement.This case is a lot better made than the last one I had (different brand) and that case lasted for almost 2 years. Look forward to having this as long.

Holds phone in place but I can retrieve the phone easily by pushing it up through the bottom hole. One of the elastic end pieces broke after about a year - thank goodness for black duck tape.

Great holster, exactly what I was looking for. It fit fine on the naked phone, then I added a Spigen Case to my phone and it still fits in this holster, though it's a bit tight lengthwise. Without the stretchy material at the ends of this case it would not have fit after adding the case. Ideally this case should be about 1/4" longer to be ideal, but I still love it!

Extremely well made, and nice looking to be so inexpensive. Very happy with this case. Intend to order a second to put away for the future.Note it fits the M8 with a 'slim armor' case on it, but you definitely want to use it with only a bare phone or 'slim armor'. Otterbox would NOT work.

The case came earlier then I expectefd and is a very fine item. My problem is my phone will not the belt holster because of the protective case on my phone(I was warned about this the beginning but still took a chance anyway)with hopes that my phone would fit.I Was WRONG! The case itself is fine quality and would recommend it highly if you have a protective on your phone.

Great case for the money . Well made & rich looking , however it is a tight fitfor my htc one M8. Difficult to get out of case.needs a little smaller phone forthis case.
