Children enjoy the movie greatly. Great for a child's Halloween party entertainment. Not too scarey for younger ones. Grade A.

The item headline said that it was in "good" condition but it should have been labeled "poor" or at least "okay" because it isn't what I would consider good at all. Appears to be a old used library book. Their were some ripped pages and several pages with liquid damage of some sort. And once I took off the paper outer cover, it was easy to see that the book was pretty badly bent...maybe someone bent it (not easy to do considering it is hardcover book). Thank goodness I paid only several bucks for it but the quality certainly wasn't of the quality that was listed. Some of the pages and such looked really gross. Outer paper cover was also all ripped up...

My girls enjoy the Scary Godmother movies so we were thrilled to find the "stories". When we received the package we were so excited to read the stories. What a disappointment to find it was a black & white comic book. I returned it the next day. Amazon promptly refunded the purchase.

There are quite a few different Scary Godmother books by Jill Thompson, as well as some produced when the character was under license to a large company. Stick with Jill's. The one we started with was a big black and white compendium that took forever to get through, though my son was fine with that and stayed interested. The Boo Flu is more accessible for younger kids, and in color, focused on Scary Godmother's friend Hannah. S.G. gets sick and little girl Hannah tries to take over her Halloween duties, only to realize that it's a LOT of work! Perfect for kids who love that Halloween spirit.

I LOVE Scary Godmother, the books and dvd's. It's an incredibly well written, and talented series. It's a FUN series for kids and adults. One of the best animated Halloween shows I have ever watched. It's witty, well thought out with lots of humor. You will love the characters so much this series will become an addiction. BUY THE BOOKS AND THE MOVIES...The second film in this series is THE REVENGE OF JIMMY...get them, watch them with the kids or by yourself...you won't be disappointed I promise.
