disappointed. Very little from this book will be on the exam.
Just for the records, 955 is the US postal services exam required for maintenance positions, this includes everything from the basic plumbing and electrician to the highest levels like Electronic tech which are the people in charge of sorting machinery repairs, the test is the same no matter what position you're applying and your scores will determinate which position you're able to get, Just did the test for Electronics tech, it ,I passed ok but just because of my background, but if you're coming from a non-technical branch you will probably fail this test, the test has a lot of hydraulic, pneumatics, automation, welding, electrical, electric motors, some safety and overall machine shop stuff, even some old stuff like steam machinery, very little of actual modern electronics, so if you're an actual electronic tech this job is NOT really for you, as you will be required to know much more electro mechanical than just Electronics. the book looks like a compilation of past exams, but tests change over the time, and also the testing company might be different, about half of this book is NOT part of the exam, if you're looking for a peek about how the exam will be then maybe is ok to spend the money, if you're looking for the answers to pass the test, just don't waste your money here, there were barely 2 questions of the whole book on the real test I took, just FYI be prepared, the test is brutal, you have a first part of machine shop knowledge, 60 questions with 60 minutes to answer, half of that minute you will spend just reading the question, so very tight timing, the second part is composed of 45 questions to answer in 30 minutes, the test is about figures that you have to assemble in your mind and find either the resulting shape or the 3d shape of the views, but the drawings looks like made by a kid with very fuzzy shapes. you will have less than a minute for each question. your knowledge of electronics won't help you here as this has nothing to do with it, they're just trying to make you fail. I hope this help you in some way. Good luck, you will need it.

I was going to take the Automotive Technician Exam. But I bought the wrong book. It's 944, not 955.
