TAJ Premium Indian Moong Dal Whole, Mung Beans, (4-Pounds)

I was surprised at actually how many beans are in this package. You definitely get more bang for your buck. I've used them primarily to sprout for recipes, and they're yummy/crisp. I'm looking forward to trying in soups in the future.

I bought these as an economical alternative for sprouting. Beans arrived in good condition with no trash or odd bits in the bag and no broken hulls. I soaked a tablespoon of these seeds three days ago and have been rinsing them a few times a daily. Looks like most if not all are sprouting now! Its a bit early in the process o comment on the taste or quality of the resulting bean spouts, and I'll update this post later, but as to the question of sprouting viability I'd say these are very much so such a variety.

My granddaughters and I are growing the sprouts inside so they can have fresh vegetables during this winter.

The beans have good quality, most of them could sprout. Will buy again after finishing them.

I really bought these because I make a lot of bean sprouts. The batch I have are not sprouting well at all. As far as for cooking, they are great. But I will have to order from my previous supplier to make my sprouts.

During this COVID time, many products are not available. Getting this on-line was the only way. I am very please with this item and would order again.
