16 x 32 Foot Rectangle Fine Mesh Pool Winter Cover

Bought one two years ago and about to buy another due to a several large holes that occurred over two winters but that's not any worse than my past experience with more traditional nonporous covers that cost as much. Difficult rural location adjacent to woods with lots of gnawing rodents and occasional falling branches. It works on a 16x32 pool although if you want a 12" drop it will barely cover the coping. However it can be stretched fairly tight with just a little sag and rainfall will go through like with a LoopLoc. Much easier to remove from pool since water on top will slowly penetrate the cover as you pull it back and cover itself is lighter weight than nonporous covers I have used. Works well in the fall to keep leaves out during the week. Grommets around the perimeter are a great help in securing the cover especially in a fairly tightly stretched state. Can't say whether it keeps water perfectly clean over a winter since I get at least a few holes each winter with any cover but seems to work as well as a nonporous cover for me.

I ordered a 16 x 32 to fit my 12 x 24 pool but this was sized for a 16 x 32 pool so it was bigger than the stated size. I read the description carefully but it didn't state that very clearly.

I ordered the same size as my leaf cover. This cover does not fit my pool. The seller wants me to measure it and send more pics than I already did or order another one. I will not order from this seller again!

Advertised as a mesh cover that will allow water to pass through. It does not. Have had to use a small pump to siphon water off of this thing. Very disappointed.

The ad says 16'x32'. Is that the size of the pool, or the size of the cover? If the pool is 16'x32', then the cover must be bigger - 20'x36' so that it can be held down by bags, boxes, or clips. The measurement of the cover must be stated, as it is in the catalog. Much later....Spring 2012. Tried to dry off the cover before taking it off the pool. (See the picture as advertised). It would NOT dry off on top. Which means that the water was seeping upward onto the cover. As we pulled the cover off, we found the bottom had dirt spots throughout. It did NOT keep the pool clean, as regular non-porous pool covers do. Next year, we will go back to regular NON-POROUS winter covers. Note: the photo of the product shows the cover resting ON the pool surface. Maybe it should be suspended ABOVE the water surface, and NOT TOUCHING IT. Then it would probably work.

The pool cover works just fine.
